Tangkhul which is considered as one of the most advanced tribe has made the biggest mistake for not giving him another chance. Look anywhere in India you won't find such a leader who could challenge and fight for tribal's rights in the assembly. He was truly a blessing for The Tangkhul and for tribal's as a whole but Tangkhul has made the worst choice. Bartering your right for the fear of NSCN is a coward acts and we tribals will regret this forever. I lost all my respect to the Tangkhul people.

We live in a society where people have high hopes that politicians from our own blood and culture could bring the best attention and development for the society . There was a time when tribal people never trusted the Meitei Politicians because they never regarded them as their own and always turned their heads when help was required . I personally have never liked any politicians, but like it or not , even without their policies and agendas ; most of the politicians have dirtied their hands each and every day of their lives . *Tangkhul* people were given glimpses of hopes and dreams when they had politicians from their own soil for almost 70+ years . Till today , people like Alfred and other politicians have sworn in to protect the youth and culture of the Tangkhul people . However , when you’ve been send to do good deeds for your own people ; you (Alfred) are on a mission to extinguish the bad environment in the political field too. You’ve been send to cut off the cycle of corruptions and dishonesty amongst the leaders too . But what have you done? You’ve become one of the people you hated growing up . You’ve become one of those rats that the Tangkhul people despised . Sure , you support the youth . But what good is it when you’re helping them dig their own graves. What good is it when you can’t even repay the poorest of the poor? What good is it when you can even pay back to the people who helped you ? What good is it when you don’t know the desire of a poor child ? People are defined by their decisions they make in the cross roads of life : it is very hard to tell the truth and to live truthfully . Your actions have define you and you will live according to them . Even God can’t wash the dirt that’s in your hands. You’ve become the very person you’ve sworn to fight against .
