Amazing, 1934 250, 4 valve Rudge single beats 60's Ducatis. Rudge made quality motorcycles and not a lot of people have even heard of them. Well done Mervyn Stratford!

la plus belle course de ma vie en vintage sur ma bsa 500 de 39...tout le monde pensait que j'était 2ém mais j'ai du faire une stratégie en face de l'armada britannique... j'ai finis premier de cette course d'anthologie... merci au copains de la cloute pour leurs encouragements..

Great race. I have to admit that I was surprised by that Rudge, although the rider got all of it that it had to give. But still, to beat a Ducati with modern forks and a swing arm frame was very gratifying.
