gmod interior mapping test

OBS completely dismembers the sound whenever i boot it up. Achieved with "gmod parallax mapping addon and a bit of trickery. Absolutely impractical and barely has any benefits, the texture can only have square aspect ratio and shouldn't tile, which means you can't display multuple rooms with single face and if you want 2 by 1 room, you have to add a lot of unused pixels at the top or bottom.

@@alwayshasbean6849 creating the buildings from basically images is a good way to optimise performance when transfering these from blender to unreal engine just a good concept to take into consideration and your video inspired this thought so i say thankyou

Textures do automatically show up in shaded view (default for shading workspace), but you can enable it in any workspace by clicking third of four sphere icons in the 3D view corner or using pie menu on Z key. Instead of this I changed settings of the solid view (default for other 3D workspaces) accessed by dropdown arrow next to 4 spheres, just change 'Color' from 'Material' to 'Texture'.
Very nice tutorial, good quality, a bit slow but it wasn't boring. + the music so good

what tutorials do you recommend?
Sorry for responding so late, i don't know anything that's proven to be good for beginners, you should probably just start with Blender Guru's donut tutorials like everyone else and then you could watch RoyalSkies for more specific stuff because their tutorials are brief and informative

Bc it's still unfinished and relies on custom shaders heavily, also idk how to convert shape keys to flexes and mouth is literally floating in front of her head to create side mouth effect, that was like... The whole point of this model

Без опыта в блендере вообще не понятно что происходит, с трудом дойдя до этапа где соединяются полосочки на 20 секунде я уперся об отсутствие наложения картинки на куб... Будет пречудеснейше если вы изволите залить полную версию. Очень хочется превращать знакомый зоопарк в 3д приколы... Заранее спасибо! Очень круто!
