I enjoy your minimalism. You show it is possible to go without washing tape.
Love it!! Miss you, I’ve been off IG for a while (my daughter has been posting) but I really miss your stories so I need to check back in 😂 Oh, and I LOVE your cover!! I’m really enjoying the Mega, glad to see you are too!
Miss you, too!!! <3 And yes, another new cover has been added to the mix - but at least I'm just switching covers now, instead of switching planners every few months haha!!
Great review
THEE best explanation !!
Good👍💙
I like the simplicity and color coding
Nicely done!
I’m going to start off with snowball to tackle the the smallest of items and then switch over to avalanche. I have two items that total less than $350, so I will snowball that and then tackle my high interest rate items.
I just saw this video now, I know it’s 10 months after It posted but this helped me so much !! I felt like I didn’t know where to start and now I have so many ideas and directions to go. Thank you !!
Yay! The setup for any new planner is always a little overwhelming...not to mention nerve-racking >___> Glad I was able to help, even a little! :)
How do you go about it? Call my loan holder each month and tell them how I am going to pay? What are the exact next steps?
Just found your channel and have subscribed! I’ve noticed you haven’t posted in a few months and I hope you are okay
This is 6 months late, but I am ok! Thank you for the concern :) <3
I like the simplicity of this- thanks so much for sharing. I have my first Hobonichi Avec on its way from JetPens. I've been bullet journaling for the last two years or so, but I think the blank notebook factor freaks me out because I can't stick to one- I just get overwhelmed by all of the empty pages, so that's why I felt like I wanted to move back into a more traditional setup. I like how yours looks without too many busy stickers. I'm big into fountain pens so a lot of my "decoration" comes from lettering, etc... How do you use the dailies? I'm still thinking on that one.
Congrats on achieving your financial goals
The flaps will lay flat after a while. It's new, so it needs time to break in. As for uncomplicating your stuffing...you already have a way: simply take the rings out to stuff and then slide back in after
Love how you lay out your plan. Sooo organized.
I love the idea for a gratitude log for the monthly, I will be definitely be using your idea for this. Thank you. Blessings to you.
I’m noticing more and more fees in so many areas...I’ve started budgeted for bank fees....love EveryDollar. Subscribing!
How can I manage these methods when I am doing auto payments for my student loans? My loan servicer disperses my minimum payment on my loans. I want to do the snowball method because my loan is high and I will be more motivated. If I knock my flowers amounts out first. My lower amounts are also my highest interest. I want to pay extra. I have my servicer take the money out automatically so I can get a lower interest rate.
It differs between loan servicers. In my case, I had my automatic payments scheduled for the interest rate discount + to ensure I didn't miss a payment. Then I would schedule a later payment manually and select which loan I wanted that payment to go towards. You want to be sure any extra payments are applied specifically to the loan you are attacking with your "snowball". You also want them to apply to the principal, NOT paying ahead for future due dates (this is more common with auto loans, but you just want to double check). Good luck...you've got this!
I have a question how long should I take to save my emergency fund? Specially for a minimum wage earner. Thank you.
hey! :) what a beautiful setup!! I've got some inspiration from you now, thank you! how many boxes down/across is the b6 stalogy?
I love your set up , thank you for sharing
Love these monthly budget videos. Your EveryDollar videos have been very helpful with understanding how to actually use the program. Hope your channel gets some growth cause this is quality content
I really enjoyed you going over your budget :). Great job!
Thank you!
Great flip! I love the stalogy. I’m in the cousin again but I may have a couple other notebooks on the side... 😂
I have been strongly considering getting a Cousin again LOL.
Also, I haven't ordered cash envelopes yet. How many will it hold? Thanks!
Thanks for the review! I just ordered one in Poppy. I'm so excited to get it and start the cash only system! Does the wallet lay flat after using it?
I have 30,000 in debt and just about to graduate.. this is my goal!!! :)
What cover is that?
It's a B6 Compact TN by the Foxy Fix. Wildflower leather in the Sedona color. I like it! It has a sort of suede feel to it.
New subscriber here 🙋♀️
Thank you!! <3 More planner videos to come!
Thanks for sharing! I really love your setup, and got some more ideas now. I`m stuck with a messy brain...
Thanks! My messy planning is really my best planning! I'm trying to find a balance between a pretty journal and one that's actually functional.
Hi great video! I just have a question! Should I pay the loan with highest the interest rate first? Was there a reason you did not pay the highest interest one first in the example? Thank you!
Highest interest rate first would be the "debt avalanche" method. Paying off highest interest rate vs. lowest balance (snowball method) is up to you and your personal totals, goals, etc. I would check out undebt.it/ to plug in your numbers and see how fast you can pay things off/how much you can save with the different methods. It's a really cool tool!
Great video, thanks for sharing.
Those icons next to your categories are SUPER CUTE!!!
Thank you! I added them on the phone app but they show up on the desktop version, too!
Finally found a good and simple explanation of these two methods! Thanks so much! Think I'm going to use the debt avalanche for my student loans.
I just wanted to pop on and say I’m doing the #75 hard challenge this year as well.. I dont have plans to start til mid March 80 days before a vaca lol but I do most of the things anyway but obviously not daily so I’m excited to see how I do.. what diet did you follow with it when you did it the first time ? That’s what I’m working on figuring out still...
I need you as a friend iam in Carrollton tx..
Very nice video. I’m using the B6 Stalogy for 2020 as well in some similar ways. I love how we all have different takes on layouts and ideas and how our personal style can shine thru!
Thanks! And I totally agree. The planner community is so creative!
I LOVE your 2020 theme!
Thank you! I'm so in love with how things turned out but OMG was it stressful drawing it all haha.
Nice video 👍👍💐💐
Thanks for this video. I got some good ideas from you. Thanks
This was by far the best, most in depth video i've see on youtube explaining and breaking down the debt snowball and avalanche methods!! You did such a great job with this.
This is one of the nicest comments I've ever received. Thank you so much...it made my day!! <3 I'm glad I was able to put out some helpful content into the world :)
Very helpful! I was considering leaving my Hobonichi Weeks for this version of the Kyuko because I like the format and the light weight. However, like you, I wish there were more pages in the back, the writing grid was larger and their were clear covers to fit. I think I will stick with my Weeks or go to Mega Weeks and just do my own lists [as I always have] and add some of the graphs in the back. Anyhoo- excellent, to the point video! Thank you!
I am SO tempted by the Hobonichi Weeks! I just haven't been able to make the horizontal weekly work for me...yet. I'm still trying haha, it's such a neat planner. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video. I actually cut the edge of my techo lite mini cover just a tiny bit and it now fits nicely in my B6slim folio from Sojourner.
Yay, I'm glad that works! If I keep it, I'll probably trim it down that teeny tiny bit as well.
Are you selling your diary lite? I would love to buy it if you still have it!
I still have it! I'm selling for $25 shipped. You can email me at apennyplan@gmail.com or on my instagram @a.penny.plan if you're still looking for one! :)
@@APennyPlan Hi there was wondering if you ended up selling this planner
You can use the idea books for journaling;)
I actually cut the edges off the back to slide it into my jibun techo pouch:(
Glad I'm not the only one who fills in the monthly spread after the event!
Yes! I love to use it as more of a memory keeper, since realistically I don't end up flipping through my weeklies as much as I think I will... :')
Thanks for this great review. It’s been hard finding info on this Lite planner.
I love this!! I love the blank pages. I would've preferred the yearly overview on four pages rather than two, but I could totally make it work... I hate the info pages (always have, regardless of language), but at least there's not that many of them. Edit: I just checked, and they have a horizontal week on one page + notes! So tempting 😭
Glad to see you back!! LOVE the super cute November calendar at the beginning :) Congratulations on reaching your emergency fund goal this month!!!
This is a VERY late reply, but I just want to say thanks for all your support!! <3
