Awesome tutorial, hands down the easiest and most comprehensive tutorial that I've seen on youtube. I really liked how you've managed to touch on pretty much everything a potential bow user would need or want to know. Probs.

Been trying to figure out, does power coating affect elements or not? Nothing I've seen is very clear but it's usually along the lines of "boosts raw by 50%" but never says it doesn't affect element.

I assume you barrel bombed that way to showcase the concept of the video quicker, but if you want the full damage multiplier on the large barrel bombs when sleep bombing you can throw a paintball near the bombs knowing that it won't hit the monster at all, or place the barrel bomb S so that it doesn't actually hit the monster, use it for the method of triggering the bombs. At least that is what I picked up from back in the psp versions at least. Love how informative the video is though. :)

Assuming all every shot on your bow is the same (for instance, all level 5 scatter shots), your level 2 shots have the highest DPS. Level two shots being after it charges once. Your level 3 shots, which is what the uploader suggests, has just a little less DPS. Your level 1 shots, with no charge at all, have the worst DPS, with nearly 20% less raw damage per second, but a little more elemental damage. Unless your level 3 shot has a better shot type, for instance, if your level 3 shot had rapid level 5 and your level 2 shot had only rapid level 3, you should make your level 2 shots your go to, and only use the level 3 shots when using power coatings, or you need keep walking with the bow out a little bit longer so you don't get hit by an attack. Another thing is that this particular bow's level 3 shot is a rapid shot, and its level 2 shot is a scatter. With this particular bow, you might want to go to the highest charge level (level 3) so you have the rapid shot and can place all the arrows on his weak spot, whereas using a level 2 charge shot, the scatter, wouldn't be able to as easily be placed on the weakspot, and thusly wouldnt do as much damage. If you are only looking to get off shots though and aren't worried about weakspots, just keep in mind that level 2 shots naturally have a higher DPS than level 3 shots.
