One Day Flyfishing for Perch in Holland with Flyfishingguide.nl
Just having a fun day at the Water with Flyfishingguide.nl
Super cold morning with -3 °C and quite high water but still a good day fishing with some Perch on the Fly.
It is so much fun to see the fish moving on the 360 and casting towards them. If you ever wanna fish in the Netherlands from a boat check Erik out:

I took the camera with me to just let u be part of a usual day out on the water with friends. Excuse the noise by the wind and water in the micro of the GoPro. But the main goal was catching some fish and not filming ;)
We fished EP-flies in grey/white and Mullet/white tied on Ahrex XO774. But also chartreuse/white is an excellent color combination of the Sculpt a Fly fibers.
Erik fished a Vision Meri #7 with a Vision Kust reel equipped with an Airflo 40+ Extreme inter/sink 3 line and I fished a Vision Merisuola Graphene #6 with an 5/6 Xo reel and a Vibe 85+ float/sink 3 line.

For Barracuda I peronaly would use a lighter head material and a tandem hook fly or just a shank in the front and the hook further back

Halt wieder son Dubbing-Schwamm. Sieht halt aufm Bindestock gut aus aber geht viel zu langsam unter und man muss immer zu viele Leerwürfe machen um das Ding zu trocknen.
Eine wirklich sehr gute und schnell zu bindende Barschfliege, welche bestimmt auch prima und verführerisch unter Wasser läuft.
Hi Jay, Thank You for the very nice videos! How do you know, when the fly is on the bottom? How do you identify the bite when you don't strip in? What line are you fishing? kind regards, Jannik :)
U usually feel the bottom when u strip in due to stones mussels etc. It helps if you know approximately how deep the water is u r fishing of course and you can count in your head how long u let the fly sink to adjust it. If u can't feel the bottom due to sand you can sometimes see it by the tip of the line that's floating on the surface and gives a small cringle when the fly or sink tip line touched the bottom. you usually just feel a pull in the line when they take the fly and if not u feel the fish with ur next strip ;)

Good morning, this fly is a really bad imitation of the original pussy fly invented by me more than 15 years ago, I find the use of an integrated hook really offensive which, during a wrong strike, could create problems in the fish's mouth. th-cam.com/video/eXJYWV2lCTQ/w-d-xo.html

Thanks for the helpful video. When you lay the Nayat on the table do you place it so the wire is in the mid point of the Nayat? If not, what are the percentages above and below the wire?
It depends on how long your nayat is and what length ur fly shall be later. If u have really long nayat u can just place the middle of it onto the wire.

hi, yes sure u can do that. I would put a little bit of super glue on the first cm of the first section to prevent it from tailing in.

no I don't have it unfortunately it would be possible but quite difficult with the hook up front probably only possible when u bent ur own shanks
