A short trip to Taichung, and it's 50mins away from Taipei. A city where everything is way cheaper than Taipei and the quality of food and clothes are comparable or even better! Spent 2 nights in Taichung city and 1 night in Nantou province which was a 2 hours bus ride. I would definitely come back here!! Audio: Epidemic sound Campfire 1 and 6

Nice music❤

Didn't you travel to Kazakstan?
Hi
I am planning to visit Switzerland in September . What's the weather like in September ( Say 15th to 25th September ) ? Can you please advice. Is it too cold / snowy or cloudy. ?
Hey! It was t-shirt weather during the hikes, while temp dropped to below 10C in early morning and nights. It was relatively clear with a couple of fluffy clouds. No falling snow during sept but you might see fallen snow at certain peaks, eg mount titlis. Have a good trip!
Wanting to do this!
Hello fellow SGrean! I'm planning a solo to SW and just booked my accoms too. Was surprised by how much you spent on accoms, did you mostly stay in dorms? May I know how you managed to save on food costs as well?
Hello!! Yes, i mostly stayed in dorms, sharing with other lady backpackers. The list of accoms are listed in the description box, not sure if the rates increased since it has been a couple of years. I mostly get convenient food from their supermarket and heat them up in the dorm pantry. I think i only ate in proper resturant once, the rest were convenient food and savouring them while enjoying in nature. Also brought a couple of canned food from sg and ate together with my instant noodles.
Very nice video and the background music!
Wow , this is great glow video 👍🏻✨
Very good video
Too beautiful videos🙏🙏
Beautiful city, the local Muslim culture is alive and kicking but the narrative from is the opposite, She is one of the millions visitor without any political agenda.
Hi nice video! I’m going on a solo trip this september as well. Do you know what kind of clothes I should bring? It’s hard cause I’m staying 3 nights at a hut in the mountains so I guess it could be cold but. But maybe at the lower villages it’s warmer.
Hello Marleen! In Sept, even at the lower altitudes it gets cold in the morning and once the sunsets. Would be great to have layers on since you might be exposed to different temps. At least theres an option to peel off or add on accordingly rather than 1 thick and heavy coat. Def go for light & wind resistant jackets since you might be on the move! Stay safe and have a great trip!!
Very nice. It just reminded about my trip
Dear sister I was there in tashkurgan in 1990 from Pakistan I love to see that time video if you have then kindly send me link may you have always success

Hey, great content! Can we be TH-cam friends?
Hi Shermaine, could I have your detailed itinerary?
Nice video
Hi shermaine. Tqvm. Nice vid. I'm about to plan such a trip also. Maybe 15day period.
Awesome! Have a good trip and have fun! :D
Hi Good stuff there. Love it so much and I will do this in the future. May I know the number of days you have spent in each city?
Yes I highly encourage this route! I believe there are much more to the silk road than what I experienced... I spent about a day or 2 in each area, depending how much time is needed for each attraction or if the activity is weather dependent and if I really dont want to miss the activity, I would spend 2 days at least.
Hi the bus 160 from taichung HSR with entrance is 610NTD? Which exit from the train station you bought the ticket? Thanks
Hi, may I know your destination?
ShermaineMaxine Pang from taichung HSR to Cinjing farm . Thanks
@@anacastro782 yes 610NT includes bus transfers from Taichung HSR to nantou area, there are a few stops which you can alight. You can also hop on to the bus from any of the assigned bus stops back to Taichung HSR. The ticket also includes I purchased this set of tickets from the Nantou Bus company counter in Taichung HSR terminal, it is also where you board the bus. This set of tickets also includes entrance to Cingjing grassland as well.
@@anacastro782 for more information regarding this bus, you can check their website, www.ntbus.com.tw/en-p-4.html
ShermaineMaxine Pang thanks its a big help. Do I need to alight at puli and transfer to cingjing farm? Or Its direct? Should I book online or I can buy from there? Thanks
What month did you visit here??
September
My mom & I is going to Taipei next year and of course we will visit Taichung. How did you get to Taichung from Taoyuan airport?
Hi! You can easily hop onto a MRT from Taoyuan airport to Taipei main station, and walk a short distance to Taipei HSR where you can take the HSR to Taoyuan. It's very convenient.
Wow thank you! Can you visit my channel. Folllowing you already. Pls post more travel blogs. I’ll stay tuned to you. :)))
Hey love your video, are you hoping to build your channel further? I like your use of the local music
Hi, are we allowed to bring our luggage along in the Nantou bus to cingjing farm? Nice vlog, very informative. 👍🏻
Whoops, not too sure about that but I rmb seeing people lugging big bags up the bus and storing them in the overhead compartment.
Which place is best for living to explore all these places, Zurich or Geneva?
Hi! These places were explored from Zurich to Geneva. Some places of attractions were closer to Zurich(lucerne & interlaken)+, some closer to Geneva(Chillon castle) and some were in between both (Zermatt).
Hi Maxine, do you have the itinerary for your trip? And if the swiss pass was indeed worth it for you. Thanks!
Hi Chris, i've added the itinerary in the description box. Regarding the swiss pass, I did my calculations before purchasing and it was comparable, but I decided to go for it because it gave me the convenience instead of purchasing tickets each time. Even so, during my trip I made some changes and decided to hop onto the ferry in Lake Zurich which swiss pass got me covered.
Hi can check what are the available transportation within cingjing if I want to go to cinjing farm skywalk etc from those minsu.?
Amazing video, seems so much fun..
i like the music, very nice and by the way u r cute! :)
heard it played by a busker during my trip! thanks for your kind compilments:)

Hi, do you have the itinerary?
Hihi, i've added my itinerary in the description box, hope it helps :)
Hi! Very interesting video. Did u book whole trip under 1 agent or separately? Is it possible to share the link of the tour operator? Which month did u go? Do they provide meals? Thanks!
Jas G Hi Jas, I used chinaxiantour services for the whole trip from domestic flights, trains, personal vehicles in different county. You can ask them for a quote they reply pretty promptly. And nope I didn’t request for food though maybe u can try asking them about that. I went in September. mailto:info@chinaxiantour.com
@@shermainemaxinepang thx so much!
Great video! i'm actually planning this trip now, but. what do you recommend is the best way to get to the Yueya spring in Dunhuang from Xian? did you fly to a nearby airport? cheers!
Lingo Lewi hey! Thanks for the compliments. I flew from Xian to dunhuang, about 2.5hrs flight. After which I have a private driver who pick me up to yueya spring. I book all these with an agent who will arrange all the transport.
@@shermainemaxinepang awesome! thanks heaps
Nice vlog. How many days you spend there? What type of swiss travel pass you used?
I spent 9 days hence I bought the 8 days consecutive ticket. Did some calculations comparing with and without swiss pass and they were quite close, but of course with the swiss pass you could do impromptu amendments to your itinerary like hop on/off a ferry or travel to somewhere you didn't plan to..
Truly a wonderful video, May I ask if you go the 8-day "Swiss Travel Pass" or the 8-day "Regional-Pass Bernese Oberland". Thank you so much for your time.
@@manusharma3241 hihi, sorry i must have missed out your comment. But i took the 8 day swiss pass because it allows me to travel around switzerland and only traveled abit in the bernese oberland.
you are so pretty
Looks like you had a great trip - you got to see so many beautiful places in Switzerland. Lovely video!
Yeah! Switzerland has now become one of my favourite countries! Shall catch your videos to have an idea of how the other parts of switz is like :)
I am going there from 26 of September to 76 of October, do you know the coldest and hottest temperature this week???
Eleno Rodriguez i went around the same time, so I Guess it’ll be similar temperature. It can go up to 35C in turpan and it can go below 10C in the tashkorgan region.
76 of October?

The title is called Xiao bao bei :)

Nice cheerful video. I hv done this route a few times and love it. Would love to visit Tashkurgan agsin and cross over to the pakistani border. Tq for sharing
u scared the little boy at 5:50,it would be a shadow forever
he knew I was hiding because we were playing for a bit before this was taken. lol! :D
hi, i just found this.....i'd love to do silkroad but i just don't know how...where do i start, howmuch does it cost for a solo travellar like me, do i fly back to KL or take a train ride back....ohh just too many q's to ask....will you pls be kind to me...
Hello, you can start by researching the route and select places which you would like to visit. In China, silk road starts/end at Xi'an and it extends to the extreme west of China and over to neighboring countries. Depending on your budget you can choose to just explore the route in China only, like what I did, or you can also visit the neighboring countries. And you can again choose flight or train depending on your budget or time. For 12 days, I spent about SGD3.5K inclusive of 4 flights, 1 bullet train, private driver each province, accommodation and food. Drop me a mail if you need more information, shermainepang@gmail.com :)
ShermaineMaxine Pang tq shermaine for being so kind in answering my questions...i'll definitely drop you a line one of these days....thank you so much!
