That piece of metal, 656 is not an earth, it's bent the wrong way and should lay flat, it connects to the propshaft to make a twang twang noise

The lid must be close otherwise steam escape the bi metal disc then it wont switch off easily

keep the engine level or you will uncover the boiler

yes, it was smoking way too much,, I think those saws require a 50:1 fuel ratio.

I wish my Stihl looked that clean 😂. Looks like you have normal oil leakage from the chain oiler. That is a nice little saw!

Nice score on the vacuum! Stihl 017, I had a little 011 years ago, stayed in the pickup for emergencies.. have had 036, 044 and 066 for years, leftovers from when I was logging.. I used to be able to work on them with my eyes closed 😁 That little tool kit will be handy!! JB weld works well on plastic fuel tanks.
