I think it should be mentioned that it only got beat because the ridiculous antennas on the petronas towers made it "Taller". In my eyes antennas don't matter and the Sears tower should be the 2nd tallest in the US just behind Central Park Tower

My father was an iron worker. He worked on the Sears Tower up to the 60th story. After that, he said it was too high for him. It takes a special kind of thinking to do that.
