I think unless youre planning to become an arts teacher or go into design somehow, studying art doesent make sense
i play the cello and also im a soprano
There is a 4 mile stretch of straight and flat pavement in the backwoods of my home town. A hobby was to see how fast you could get your car to drive. Not race as it wasn't wide enough, but clock speed. I got 115 in my 25 year old buick befor the headgasket blew. There was also a hairpin corner and a brick wall at either end. They put roundabouts up and down it after I became an adult
I am disappointed in the lack of complaining about orgo. Talk to any chem major about their classes and they WILL complain about it 🤣
Lmao literally I had the same professor for two different classes, one in the fall and one in the spring. Fall semester, attendance wasn’t mandatory so I stopped showing up. I would learn months worth of material in a few hours the day before the exam. Got top 10 in exam averages. Then, second semester, he implemented mandatory attendance at 8am… I would show up so tired I wouldn’t be able to focus. Commuting to class would take 30-45 minutes there then 30-45 min back just for a 50 minute class. Got a C that semester even though the course load was very similar. The point of college isn’t to learn how to show up, it’s to prove that you can learn and understand difficult things so you can learn new things at a job. In the real world, you don’t even end up using most of the shit you learned in college. Instead, you use your ability to learn. I believe some professors have an ego and think their way of teaching is the best way when in reality, they aren’t that good. I have another professor that curves generously if you show up to all of his office hours. He doesn’t seem to realize most people in his class are so lost but go to his office hours so that he will like them. Pretty dumb class that doesn’t reward true learning but rather sucking up to the man, which I guess is important for the real world..
Clearly not an Econ major
Oof, yeah, hits close to home
A wise man once said: "art majors exist so all other 3rd level education students can feel good no matter how horrendous their own perspectives are"
Drumline and Bass Trombone
Psych when
my small town had two exits and between them was a tunnel, so we got to do joyrides through the highway tunnel without having to fully leave town in either direction. it was great
Don't feel like typing a giant list of all the instruments I play
I play tuba, im the only tuba in my school band
viola
my 2d 3d animation class doesnt even exist in my college anymore lol
My boyfriend is getting his PhD in biology... I actually don't think either of these sound like him, amazingly hahaha
So this is why economists worship supply and demand like it's a religion.
Dem keyboards 🎹🎹🎹
this is so relatable, as an art major
This is literally the reverse
"Solve Atlantas traffic problem." *releases covid 24
LITERALLY ME THO😭
Bro the class of 2028 is the most cooked class
There are no Walmarts in small towns
Im not a band kid, but band is pretty difficult depending on what instrument you got lol
My personal budget meals go to is rice a roni with frozen or canned veggies, its easy to budget for a couple months with that. Breakfast can be overnight oats with frozen fruit and greek yogurt, super easy to make and way cheaper than most recipes you see. I put honey on my overnight oats but you can use syrup if you dont like honey.
i play basoon
Play sax for concert, orchestra, marching and jazz band when time comes around 🎷also it really annoys me when characters in comics or animations don’t have neck straps makes it feel off imo
Bass sax cello guitar star sitar banjo
No hate, but this isn't that relatable (for me at least). I have a bachelor's in Psychology. We don't learn about medications much (in bachelor's at least, that's later on, especially if you become a psychiatrist). Freud didn't discover psychology, if anything Wilhelm Wundt could be said to have. (But maybe I misunderstood this part, because everyone's talking about the Freud joke?) I thought the Senior was going to talk about how much he hates Freud's teachings, because that was basically the consensus in my classes. I can't think of how a bachelor's in psychology would get their own practice. That seems very unlikely. But maybe that's just the freshman being delusional?
im a bassoonist so i get free scholarships 🔥🔥
i play cello violin viola piano guitar ukulele flute and i sing
im a percussionist. ofc we r mad chill
I started as an art major in my first semester of college. I switched to geology halfway through my second. I like art, but only if it's what I want to make. My teachers kept telling me to stop drawing dragons, and art history is boring as hell. I love my new major so much more. Geology rocks!
I appreciate the pun
Nah the senior is for sure element number five, cuz that joke was boronic
Chemical Engineering next, please
Andrew killed Corey with a bomb
Not the internships 😭 its so hard to find chemistry internships that are in your interest
do physics next i beg 🙏
I agree with him band is an entire sport there's marching competitions and if cheerleading is a sport band is too sure we are flipping in air but if you play a heavy instrument sousaphone you're sweating hard in your uniform we have to preferom music and memorize some routine
Econ is all math past first year, dont be fooled by this nonsense
pls pls do musical theatre pls
If econ majors actually learned about supply and demand then they wouldn't have blamed inflation on the stupidest shit.
Choir
Well I'm a freshman music major so I need to be at my classes and most of the career fairs are completely useless to me... I can TOTALLY relate to "crap, I actually have to study for this class-" though 🙃
Clarinet 😭 Also- my old director told me that during his music theory class in college, his professor would play a song on the stereo as they were walking in, and when they sat down, they had to know the piece and composer before it was over. I will not be doing that 💀
And if you cant pass econ classes, become a business major.
Lmao titration is not that hard
Have y’all done history major yet?
Trumpet lmao 🎺
