I worked at a law firm in Los Angeles and a guy put his hands on me, and one of the other employees asked me what I did to invite him to do that kind of thing. He later apologized to me when somebody gave him a good talking to, but the fact that his first instinct was to think that I somehow coerce this guy into putting his hands on me in a rough manner was beyond belief to me. But that's how some people think they think that women that we bring this shit on to ourselves. Sick

It's absolutely outrageous that the victim's families are putting part of the blame on Laura. 35 years ago, it was even harder to get help against a stalker and it's still hard because police often can't do anything unless it's too late.
