Hey, it was completely custom made. I think we used compressor and other internals from Isotherm and then built the unit around them.

Which Color Code (RAL) is that defender from outside of if I may ask?
It's Nardo grey, very popular back then. I don't have the RAL on me but you can look it up. It's raptor paint with a pretty fine finish. Thx for the interest. Good luck

Magnificent interior… but how heavy is it?!
Thank you! The wood part of the interior is only a few hundred pounds the truck as a whole is carrying close to 1800 extra. It's been fine.

Stunning craftsmanship! But I shudder to think what all that gorgeous wood adds to the gross weight of the Defender. I think I could learn to live with it though as all you really need is a crackling fire, I comfy chair, a nice glass, and a bottle of Buffalo Trace to watch the stars go by.
Totally understand the sentiment. The wood itself adds less than 200 lbs. But it's a heavy truck for sure. I'm sure Ray still sits by the fire plenty.

It’s a tragedy this video doesn’t have millions of more likes. I hope you keep making more - I want to believe you will find your audience because everything about this is amazing. I would only suggest a narration might help the audience follow this a little better, maybe some insight into how you learned to do this or why you choose to do things a certain way.

Is the side slide-out kitchen a beautifully embellished off the shelf product or was it built from the ground up? I have seen similar shaped side hatches. Mine are a standard rectangle.

FYSA: The "headliner" in the back is to protect the radio equipment and its operators from dangerously strong transmission signals off the antennas that would have been bolted to the front fenders. Great video! GLWTS.
