Man, at least this helps speed up taking multiple images a little bit, but still considerably slower than the TSC7. The TSC5s are much slower in their processes and not very user friendly when compared to the old windows version. Darker screen, smaller screen, also makes for tired old eyes straining all day. Any chance we’ll get a windows based, larger screened collector again? I miss the speed, power, versatility and brightness of the 7.

I would never feel confident of those vertical no matter how big the jobsite lol. The bigger the job the more money you losing. Expecially in the excavation world.

Thank you for the video. Just refreshing what I used to use years ago. Could you just tell me if I understood you correctly. You didn't scale your GPS measurements to TPS data. So if I would like to get calibration with projection scale factor 1 (which I normally use for setting out buildings with TPS) I would have to leave the 'Fix H scale to 1.0' unticked? Or you ticked it and got scale factor 1 and your TPS points were with different scale factor? Sorry if I sound confusing...English is my second language. Many thanks for any help

Howdy! Great video. I am interested in a video on the next steps. I have a process but not sure if it makes sense: I bring in the .JOB file(s) from my RTK survey to TBC. Then I bring in the XML file from OPUS. I merge the base station point in the .JOB file (I used the HERE button to set its coordinates during the survey) and then change the name of the OPUS solution point to match the base station point and merge the two (after setting the quality of the OPUS solution to "control"). Does this make sense? Is there a reason to merge just the T02 file with the OPUS solution?

Does AZ smartnet run on RTCM corrections? Just wondering why you wouldn’t use trimble’s proprietary correction format (CMR)? I know here, in MN, the Trimble users in our office use Trimble corrections. We do, however, need to use RTCM for the few that run Topcon equipment, since that is the correction type they are built to use. I feel like you said you are using an R12. I would love to hear the reasoning behind this decision. I like to learn.

I can take the shot and take the picture but when I exit out it doesn’t give me the option to link it to the measured point? Tried bringing it back up in photos but I can’t seem to figure it out.

It would also be nice to be able to change the name of the images. So when I import them to usb/pc they already have the correct names.
