Marilyn, Well said keep you honesty and keep taking care of you because at the end it's you and your loves ones that are important when you need a break just go for it you know like that nice creamy ice-cream in a hot summer day you just go for it, like a nice cold lemonade {this another hot summer date lol) just go for it I a turning 65 soon and I learned to choose my bottles, take a break whenever , this baby boomer needs it (me) in my channel is for a purpose it is not a octopus to try to cover multi topics specially fights, discord and stuff on that line. I try to keep cool and away of issues that are avoidable. You are doing awesome and I admire you always. hugs from Chcago

Marilyn, while I think this tendency is heightened in cult survivors, members of any group/community can begin to think that the group should all think the same, or support the same things. Our common denominator is the impact against Scientology (whether it's rescuing children, reversing their tax exempt status, the prosecution of crimes, supporting the protestors, etc.). Because of our different strengths and weaknesses as humans, we will all hold a personal belief of what the priority should be at any given time. To that end, before I state what a content creator should do, I ask myself "Is this something I can do?" You're a bright light Marilyn! As a cult survivor you have helped to lead and unconditionally love all of us who enjoy your streams. I, for one, look forward to any direction you take your channel. Keep fighting the good fight! ♥

Bigger channels did help and hosted and promoted the protestors but once protestors started trashing the bigger channels, the vitriol coming from some of the protesters totally turned me off from supporting some of them.

Restore the joy and fun that you had when you first created your channel. It's important to have goals but "the journey" toward completing those goals needs to be enjoyable.

I always enjoy your shows. Can't say that about many. I get upset when those I thought were friends turn on each other. I'm too sensitive that way. But I'm just that way. I appreciate you cos you are sincere & evident u always try to do the right thing.

I loved this stream! I am gong to be starting my own channel in the near future and I know you've gone through a lot. In your defense all you've gone through has mostly been at the cost of defending others which you do so passionately and well. At the same time you, too, are recovering from a horrible experience. Our experiences are loaded with triggers. I cannot tell you how many times I am driving by a place related to the cult I was in and INSTANTLY I am feeling right back in the cult and the reactions and unnerving situation puts me in a place where I should definitely not be engaging AT ALL with any social media! The 2nd Gems, of which I feel a part of, even though I'm a brother from a different cult 😅 (not the one you were in nor Scientology) and it is heartwarming to see you passion💖, however, it is not heartwarming to see all the attacks against you that in my opinion, are unwarranted. Your efforts do not deserve all the trolling and external commentaries on other sites. Unfortunately there is so much anger and, again, it is my humble opinion, that a lot of it is more the global state we find ourselves in than true individual hatred. Some trolls just need to find a way to vent their anger, misdirected indeed, but the number of instant contrarians, that is, if you say black they automatically have to say white regardless of the fact that deep down they believe in black not white, they just want to spread their pain which is an awful reaction. Many experts say that Anger is not an emotion but a reaction to another emotion they cannot either articulate or showcase. We almost always feel something else first before we get angry. Technically, before hitting TH-cam or Reddit, Discord, etc. the healthy thing to do would be to analyze your Anger 😡, figure out its derivation and proceed accordingly. All of these platforms would be much better served if people "Thought" 🧐first, reflected, and then did what the best for them is. Hopefully many know and/or understand that Social Media is indeed an experiment 🔬and a psychological one at that. Many platforms actually have more psychologists than programmers on staff and they literally organize your feeds pushed out to you, suggested channels etc. And they drive and follow our reactions. This type of social manipulation is sus at best and so damaging. I cannot tell you how many times people have tried to engage me and initially I would innocently🥺 respond and try to work things out only to realize that their purpose was not to work things out but to keep the Anger on the surface and I have probably disengaged to just as many channels as I have engaged with. You bring a lot here and your wisdom and experiences are so valid to share. I think the more former cult members get out here and tell our stories and support the generation preceding or following ours we can make it a better space. Not only is ending Scientology important but ending all Cults PERIOD instead of facilitating their proliferation should be the focus. You do do a lot of reflecting and it shows and sharing it is so helpful to your viewing public. Keep on going, you are loved and appreciated here.

Marilyn, when my children were little, our home burned down. 100% loss. You're so right. We were in shock and had no idea where to go or what we needed. All I owned was a bathing suit. No ID, no clothes, only contacts, no glasses, etc. Without help from others, I don't know what I would have done. Thank you so much for what you do and I'm so sorry for the loss you experienced❤

I'm a massive LP fan - they helped me thru a really hard time - and I think that is true for a lot of fans. A hard no to scientology that dont think mental health issues are a thing. Can they have thought of a worse person to replace Chester?!?!?!?!
