Mostly cropped images . What is remaining of a 28mm shooting?
can i join you in your next pov tnx
I like how you find the composition. It's so nice. What is your best focal length for street photography?
@@태조광노 that’s very kind thank you. These days I usually use a 50mm lens, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best, it’s just what fits me at the moment.
@@fixedkorea Thanks for the answer! Why don't you add Korean subtitles? I think Koreans who love photography will enjoy it.
@@태조광노 no problem. i've thought about that, however, at the moment i don't have the resources to do that unfortunately.
dude you make amazing street photography videos. baffled at how you dont get more views and subscribers. thank you for these videos
ah thanks a lot for the encouragement, I really appreciate it
coool
thanks!
The idea that “editing” or “getting it in post” is in any way inferior or less genuine to “SOOC” photography is a weird justification for the fact that he dislikes post editing. Whether you front or back load your photographic process is just a choice, not a path to less or more genuine photography. Ansel Adams is famous for his dedicated post work in the dark room. And no one in their right mind would say he was less of a photographer than someone who did minimal post work. Unless you are a documentarian, a photographer creates to his/her vision. EVERYTHING is a manipulation from lens choice, to film stock, to lighting. There is no lesser or greater way to achieve the end product, just preferences.
Just something off about not using a local as a model. Its like white ladies posing in front of grass huts attempting to look stylish. Mental block.
Great interview with my nephew! ❤
He’s a good one to know!
Recently picked up a 28 prime. Great video and nice shots.
@@matthewelsdon7949 that’s awesome. Good luck and thanks for taking the time.
필카시절엔 거의 55mm 였는데 요즘은 또 50mm 더리구요…영상 참 좋네요…
Wow I'm living in Seoul and have been to a lot of rose festivals but this place and your shots are stunning! Can you tell where this place is? Which subway station?
@@jongsungwon3466 hi and thank you. Ya I believe it was taereung station on line 6 if I’m not mistaken.
Damned humid Seoul

I loved hearing your point of view on all this. Very interesting to get the mindset behind it.
That’s very kind and thank you for taking the time!
Awesome video. Even more impressive that you avoided being told not to film at the station. I got detained once at Seoul Station, but I guess a gimbal is a huge red flag. Anyway, love your content!
@@travelinghistoryteacher I really appreciate that, thank you. Haha, ya gimbals can be tricky in public places sometimes. I’ve had similar experiences with those and surprisingly tripods as well.
Nothing to talk about. Admiring the art.
@@Being_রায়ান haha, appreciate that
Great shots. I really like the color and quality of your videos too. What equipment and lens do you use to take your vids?
Hey thanks so much. For the main video footage I used a Sony a7iii along with the Sony 55mm f1.8. For the POV footage I used the DJI Action 2.
very dystopian feel, very awesome
@@damnhard1863 really appreciate that, thank you
Well done Sir! How is this color graded and which camera are you doing the pov with ?
Thanks for taking the time. So the color grade began with some basic exposure and color adjustments and then a LUT applied on top. The POV camera is the DJI Action 2. Hope that helps.
Well expressed. I’m with you on each point. I shoot 28mm almost exclusively, chasing those rare images when it all aligns.
@@robinchaplik2340 thanks for taking the time. And I agree, always chasing.
Thank you, great channel! Subscribed! How do koreans react when you’re taking pictures of them?
I’ve been shooting with my Leica Q2 last 2 years and i am loving that focus length. Nice review👍
You had me at Leica... haha, thanks for the encouragement as well
I am all for the 28 mm. Thanks for the video.
Hey thanks for taking the time!
I think the distortion is from rolling shutter
Think you might be right on that, thanks
These shots are incredible !
I appreciate that, thank you
Great video! I love wandering Seoul and taking street photos.
Hitting the Seoul streets is the best ya?
@@fixedkorea I did some street shoots in Dongmyo last weekend. The characters in that hood are just great to take of.
Crazy good shots. I shoot street around NYC every day.. and i know full well you don't just bump into this level of greatness. You put that work in and it absolutely paid off 💪💪
That’s extremely kind of you to say. Thank you.
Good job, i truly like your way in explaining your thought and style behind your street photography, unique, keep up 👍

Nice photos man. And great work explaining how you take those. Keep going. Shout out from Brazil.
Much love. Thank you.
amazing video. beautiful photos. keep up the good work!
I would remove the weird audio graph at the bottom of the left frame. it distracts from the video.
I love your work - looking forward to more of these!

Awesome Video, which POV camera are you using?
Thank you. I am using the dji action 2 for that.
wow i'm amazed. may i know how did you get the color tone? can't wait for another therapeutic POV sir!
That’s very kind of you, thank you. I think the main thing outside of the light on the day was lifting the blacks quite a bit in post along with some further adjustments in the hsl panel. Hope that’s helpful.
