Mint Decavitator Gameplay #2 - Splatoon 3 | Anarchy Battle (RM)
Gameplay of mint decavitator in rainmaker. It's been quite a while since I've played this weapon, so I decided to play it again. Decavitator is a mid range weapon that does great damage, good paint output, good mobility, great object damage, and has slow attacks. This is a weapon that's really good in apply aggro pressure with it quick burst damage and mobility but can still struggle a bit to get kills quickly from a distance due to its slow attacks. So focus on trying to apply aggro pressure by flanking and sharking your opponents. Take advantage of cover and if you can't approach, it's okay to play a bit passive by painting for your team until your team have control back. Just keep in mind that this weapon can struggle to apply pressure to opponents over ledges. Unlike the other splatana, decavitator only does horizontal slashes for both it's normal attack and charge attack. This can make it difficult for the weapon to hit opponents over ledges unless they're very close to the ledge. So most of the time, it's just better to shark near the ledge and punish those who drop off the ledges. Now the kit is really good. Suction bomb is a lethal sub weapon that will stick to any surfaces when thrown. Once it stick onto a surface, it will shortly exploded, damaging and killing those who are near the explosion. This is a great sub weapon that can help in controlling and displacing opponents from a good distance. Throw them at opponents or in area that enemies might be hiding at to displace them. Just keep an eye on your ink tank since this sub is quite expensive to use. And big bubbler is a special weapon that will create a big barrier in an area when deployed on the ground. The barrier will block enemy fire but the size of the barrier will shrink when it's damaged, especially when damaging the weak spots. There is also a squid beakon inside the launcher of the bubbler which help provide jumps to you and your teammates. This is a good supportive special that can help stall and control an area of the map if placed down in a good position. Just be aware that although the barrier does block enemy fire, enemies can still walk toward the barrier. So be prepare to defend yourself if enemies get too close to you.       Chase's video on Wiper explains this pretty well. The weapon isn't super dependent on gear/abilities and is meant to go it and fight so investing on QR is good on the chance that you don't win your fights. I tried a similar build for Wiper (I recently picked it up) but I changed it until I get better at the weapon (I need a bit more support 😅). Honestly run whatever you want lol

    As fun as Zipcaster is on Tetra Dualies, I still play the V kit because Autobomb is just too useful and so cheap ink-wise. I don’t know if you take requests or not but I would love to see a V Splatana Wiper vid if that’s possible.
