Three Tree Tales by Stone Soup
มุมมอง 41ปีที่แล้ว
Nik from Stone Soup Storytellers with 3 tales about trees, which is very relevant given the Plymouth City Council vandalous scandal chopping down trees in the city centre late at night to avoid the injunction against it. StoneSouper stone.soup.98 profile.php?id=100052700845247
The Origin of the Arabian Nights, by Stone Soup
มุมมอง 15ปีที่แล้ว
1,001 Arabian Nights, stories within a story, a "frame story," if you will. Scheherazade tells her husband a story every night but doesn't finish the end until the next night, in order to stay alive. The origin of this frame story, delightfully told by David of Stone Soup Storytellers at the Providence Inn in Plymouth. www.stonesoup.eu/soup/intro_01.htm StoneSouper pro...

Yipppeeee!
What a great bunch of singers. Enjoyed that 👌🏻
N.B. This song was written by John Barlett and is in his book, Patterns in the Sand, which you can purchase directly from him.
We sang this at Focsle Folk Club yesterday. Written by John Bartlett I believe. Thank you for sharing! Great rendition
It is indeed and you're very welcome. A member of King John Morris on Southampton taught it to Ray of Plymouth Morris. Funnily enough, I used to watch King John do their mummers play every Christmas until I moved to Plymouth, and now I watch Plymouth Morris do theirs!
check out the press gang Dublin group for this great song
Adet.. Comments. So
I might have heckled just after 5 minutes in. Then had to try not to giggle while holding my mobile videoing it!
