Two Brothers Comps 2 into 1 exhaust 2018 Fatbob(black)
Stage 1 upgrade with two brothers 2 into 1, stock high flow air cleaner, screaming eagle 10mm plug wires, vance and hines fp3. Sounds great, nice low rumble during idle that's not overly loud and good low pitch growl building to full beast mode at the top. 2018 models have excellent throttle response and fueling both acceleration and excel and the tune retained that feel. Torque and acceleration improved quite a bit according to the "seat dyno" be interesting to see #s

Just a tag along while I change the oil and fluids while performing the 1000 mile service on my new 2018 Fat Bob special Milwaukee eight 114. I did not film everything as I had some other things to do that day and I ran across a different clutch adjustment design I've not seen before so I skipped out on that one. Bought this tail light and saw a lot of folks had trouble with wiring so I figured it out and shared it.

Sounds great! Do you still have this bike and same stage 1 setup... May Iask how are you happy with the performance-do you experiance any torque dead spots in lower RPMs or is it a costant pull? I am thinking about to do the same stage 1 as you-TBR comp-s, V&H FP3 tuner.. Tnx for answer and have a nice ride!

Did you use transmission fluid for the transmission because in the manual it shows the same for the oil change for the 114 but for 107 it’s different
That's if your using syn3, syn3 works for all three holes. I use Red line trans fluid
FLadventures jcs oh ok thanks, I am doing my first oil change for my fat bob and I looked at the manual and it said the same for all three but it shows the formula+transmission fluid for 107. So it’s 4 quarts for the oil change and 1 quart for the transmission and 1 quart for primary?
@@israelperez9858 4.5 to 5 for engine, 1 qt for trans and usually 1.2-1.5 qts for the primary. Primary fills to bottom of clutch pack per the manual but it's always more than a qt so get 2

Did you have any thread sealer on your plugs? I pulled my plugs off and all 3 had a thread sealer on them.

brooo, awesome video, ive been rebuilding are an 883 and for the life of me couldnt get the aftermarket brake to stop flashing with the blinker (obvioulsy i was using the blinker wiring) so in case anyone is wondering this process also works for the iron 883 sportster as well

Did you auto tune or use a canned map?
At the time there was none, I auto tuned but since then there have been a lot of canned tunes come out. Currently running on the auto tune plus additional autotuning, I actually should check out the Vance and Hines app and check for updates but it's running pretty good now
Seems the short pipes look better on this bike, whether 2 into 1 or 2+2 like the V&H short staggers.
How much did it impact the fuel? I know it’s about 160 miles with a stock exhaust.

Check oil I have a 17 limited lost a quart at 3000 pulled primary cover off at 4500 and lost fluid I was over full.Iv read that they have bad seals in the motor that allows to leak into primary I'm going to put redline oil motor to see if transfer happens to primary I'll be putting Amsoil in primary. This is a possible problem so be careful if you got. A Milwaukee 8 Thanks good day.

I have been looking for the past hour and can’t seem to find any videos. I found a post in a forum that is not a broke down description but just a post simply saying Harley did away with the screw and lock but adjustment and now there is a red locking tab with no adjustment. I’m at 980 miles so needing to do my 1,000 mile service so was just trying to figure this out by hopefully watching a video about the new cable real quick so I can get it disconnected there in order to adjust my clutch real quick. Do you have a link to those by chance cause my search isn’t turning up anything other than the old style clutch? Thanks
JRod783 I can tell you real quick. You pull the red clip, push the yellow pieces together to take all the tension off then push the clip back in it keeps tension off while you make the adjustments at the clutch plate wich is the same as it always was. Once your finished pull the red clip pull the yellow plastic pieces back to where they were and push the clip back in...done No more adjustment needed it's actually kinda nice.

I have an 09 883 and just wondering how easy this is wired:. I have absolutely no wiring experience.. and how do you actually get it wired in?? I wish there was a step by step cause I don’t want to fuck it up..

Do you have silent baffles with this exhaust ?
Biluxx55 standard baffles, I like em there not over the top when I'm at idle but wakes up pretty nicely rolling on throttle

Can I ask how much for the total upgraded parts? Also, did you do this yourself or have a shop install for you?
Nate Schammel $860 exhaust + $399 fp3, yeah I had the dealer do it, parts added by dealer 60 days or less become part of bike warrantee plus I was gonna get it dyno tuned there.
FLadventures jcs the 60 day warranty period for add ons is for Harley-Davidson parts only. Call Harley-Davidson customer care and tell them you added aftermarket pipes and tuner, they will flag your vin and void warranty.
FLadventures jcs Harley put a FP3 on? My dealership is saying they won’t go use it. I have to use Screaming Eagle, is ur bike still running well? Sounds great BTW, they was over 2,000 bucks when I can get parts for 1100.
They were over 2000, more like 2500 but they said it won’t void my warranty if I allow them to do it: it’s dumb,

+Andrés Alaskeña I get to about 130 before the gas light comes on if I don't drive like jackwagon,it's kinda hard not to lol. Total range is about 180. I don't mind it is rather not be slinging around a 4 gallon tank on this type if bike
Hey bro, thanks for the video. I was putting a similar brake light on my buddies iron 883 and couldn't figure out how to keep the brake light from blinking with the turn signals. Splicing into the turn signals is useless because any time the blinkers flash, the brake light will flash with whichever side you hook it into. If you try to hook the brake light up to both turn signals, all the turn signals flash any time you try to use the left or right indicator because power backfeeds from where I split the positive lead into two wires. I even wired in diodes (which is basically a one way electrical check valve) and this fixed the turn signals but the brake light ( of course) continued to flash any time either indicator was on. I should have just watched your video first. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and taking the time to share it. If you're ever in Portland, I owe you a beer.

very helpful video, also if you buy the harness from Harley Davidson that really helped me and it was only 10.00 dollars. I also used the gorilla double sided tape, hopefully it will work.
What do you do with the black (negative) wire, i bought the same light and i cant figure out how to install it, your video was very helpful just trying to figure out what to do with that black wire
sorry for the delay, the black is the ground(neg) just find any ground wire. (usually black) Note: that light lasted all 10 minutes before it fell off and got sucked up in the wheel. I did all the prep i think the tape low quality.
Did you splice in to the wires or at the connection ? I just bought that same light for my 2015 sportster 48
Sliced into the wires. These wires are the same from what i can tell that the Harley Harness uses.
