I feel like I’m hearing if a marriage “ten years in” or “two days old” or “married at first sight” when there stops being an emotional and physical connection, then it's okay to cheat? I mean… that’s what I’m hearing. “She was mean to him.” “She didn’t want him anyway.” “… so, while I don’t condemn David’s actions…” Married at First Sight is marriage. And it’s kind of the point of the show that two people are going to try to grow an emotional and physical connection for 8 weeks. Michelle told him the truth straight to his face (and to anyone who’d listen), but every week David held his tongue and lied to her. Now, Allen gets to be his collateral damage.

Juan may be very entrepreneurial (which is great), but he also exudes juvenile. He seems emotionally immature, I also think Karla might not be his physical type. Frankly, I think it’s more of A-Madison, a mid-range American standard - perhaps it’s an immigrant thing or maybe not - but to many 1st and 2nd and even 3rd generations assimilation via friend groups and marriage are key. And that he thinks he and Karla might be two similar - culturally - which is likely why they largely dated outside their culture. Also, this “lavender thing” sounds like just another horrible idea for people who want to be “married” but have no real idea about the union beyond the outward optics (but that’s a conversation for another day). What I have found out dealing with people from third world countries they like to embellish there worth. If the maid tried to steal you where were the security people or even the butler. I don't believe Juan liked Karla, from the moment he first saw her. I believe he wanted a white woman. Further, I believe he was way more intentional than people want to admit about telling her that he forgot about her. He's weird and I can't quite figure it out.
