woah woah, okay. the boy playing the bells aren’t holding the mallets properly. perhaps it’s because the bells are a bit too high for him, so he has no choice to hold the mallets like that, which is not the proper way to hold it(trust me, i’m in percussion too). i suggest that you either make a taller person play the bells or get bells that are shorter. i’m also going to play this piece with my other fellow percussionists for a recital, so yeah.
Bell kit height aside, honestly, the bell player is just choking up to much on the mallets but his grip looks fine and he is using his wrists......not like he can even use is arms for mallet height to begin with lol
