This is the most underrated musical ever. Does anyone know if I can see it anywhere online?

how two people on a stage singing mostly not at each other can be so captivating, I will never understand... but it is.

I have watched this more tines than I should admit to thanks to BroadwayHD. I really hope this play will tour somewhere in the UK or come to the West End in London. I loved the book but I hate to say it the play is better. It is word for word the same as the book but to see Mr Pendleton's side of the story just adds a whole new dimension and adds to the comedy. It is rare for someone to improve the original source, especially a book as good as this.

I watched the show and it was my all time favorite!!! Oh, how I wish it would have a film adaptation. That would be AWESOME!

Daddy Long Legs came to Webster University about 6 years ago and I fell in love with the musical. It is by far my favorite and I've seen a lot of musicals. I have been trying to find a video of it for the last 6 years and I found out that Amazon Prime has it and without even thinking I signed up for it and watched it automatically. It was just as amazing if not better than the first time I saw it. I noticed that some songs have been taken out from. It's a shame because one of the songs, "fool hearted girl" was my favorite and it really showed how Jerusha was growing and developing as a character. I feel as if that song was the turning point in the story. But regardless, it was still amazing. I can't wait to watch it again.

I echo every word of the person two comments ago. I was enthralled for two perfect hours - as was my 90 year old mother - with the exquisite artistry of writer, director, production team ... and oh my, Megan McGinnis. She brought my very favorite childhood book ripping out of my heart again - her sublime voice, her spirit, her dreams so gorgeously available to us in that tiny theater. I regret we did not see Adam Halpin - I can just imagine the show with that chemistry - and will definitely make a trip back to NYC to see them. The audience leapt to their feet at the end, men and women alike.

It's truly a great off Broadway show

Just saw the show in NY tonight. Megan McGinnis was absolutely stunning -- she has gained a lifelong fan. I believed every word, smile, and tear. She has perfect control over her voice, not just in song but in speaking, too. Such a regret that I didn't get to see her with Adam Halpin because I can imagine the chemistry between them makes the show nothing short of incredible. I'll have to go back to see it again when he's there.
