Hey! The CF backplate made it a tad bit lighter, but I didn't see a whole lot of differences when I switched. Maybe a tad bit lighter on the pitch of the sound, but nothing too drastic. Thank you very much for watching!!

Thank you fluffykeebz!! Yeah I think the PC Plate + Sandwich Mount + Hyacinth clackyness matches pretty nicely :) I thought it sounded a bit dull with the GMK sets but DCS sets made it pop real nicely!

I really appreciate it, especially being a new/small TH-camr :) I actually wanted to do some switch reviews after my Sillyworks Hyacinth review, but I actually haven't bought new switches after (deviated into the ALPS / Topre realm for some time LOL) Thank you for the suggestion and I just bought some switches as a New Years splurge too, so I plan to make a review vid real soon!

Hey! Glad you liked the vid. On the wristrest accents -- yep they are interchangeable! Right before I shot this video I put the accent bar on my other wristrest (black) onto my housing to match the platinum accent with my beige wristrest :) Thanks for watching!!

Glad you liked the vid :) And yeah I'd def recommend the AT2020USB+ -- I got it as my first condenser mic for sound tests, and it does deliver the actual typing sounds very well (similar to what you actually hear) with minimal to zero sound modifications. You do need to mount it to a shock mount + mic arm to get rid of the desk noise (resonance when typing). I'm not too familiar with XLRs and sound interfaces so I got the USB version but it was still awesome. I was happy with it, and would def recommend for anyone trying to record keyboard sound tests!

I'm glad you liked my videos and as a fairly new TH-camr I'm relieved that y'all are finding my videos somewhat helpful/nice to watch :) I've been slacking with the uploads but will upload more now as my job's workload got a bit lighter haha. Tiger80 lite's so awesome! Definitely the best sounding ABS board to date and hence why it's my go-to travel keyboard. Neons are also a great choice as well as I think they're very poppy and they sort of make up for the possible dullness the ABS case may sound like. Well matched!

Hey! Sorry for the late reply -- I was just running around all of the place because of my work :( To be honest, I was very content with the switches right out of the box. The factory lubing was pretty spot on for the 100 I ordered. I heard from other people though that they had to re-lube some of the switches due to a bit of friction-y feeling/noise. If you get a batch, and they seem to be OK, then I think it should be fine! Most of the factory lube is light, and I think from my experience, they were perfect.

For the comparison between the KTT and HMX versions, I actually haven't tried the v1 switch. The stem pole bottom shape does look a little bit sharper for the KTT switch, so maybe the sounds is a bit higher pitched. But I would expect similar experience from it since it has the same material composition. Thanks for watching!!

ㅎㅎ진짜 오소리니어 빼면 이만큼 독특한 배열이 있나 싶습니다 넘패드때매 저에겐 그나마 실사용이 가능한 미니배열이라 하나 들여봤습니다 ㅋㅋ 내부구성은 그냥 도시락 하우징에 트레이 마운트 형식으로 체결해주는 방식인데 알루하우징이 꽤나 두꺼워서.. 구성도 꽤나 독특한 듯 합니다 ㅎㅎ 담에 함 리빌드 영상 찍어봐야겠네요 항상 시청해주셔서 감사합니다 ㅎㅎㅎㅎ

Hey! It was stock. They were factory-lubed and in my opinion they were good to go! One of the best factory lubed switches I've seen. FYI, all of the switches that were used for the individual keys sound test were stock as well!

Hey! Sorry, I actually haven't. But they're quite popular in Korea. From other TH-camrs' sound tests though, they seem to be slightly lower in pitch. From the switch construction though, I think the feel may be similar. Sorry I couldn't help out much here!

Yeah, I didn't expect linear switches to have such a distinct strong bottom out sound like tactiles. I think it's the CJs' POM Stem-POM housing bottom out sound that provides the sharpness + loudness in the typing sound. They do say tactiles make your keyboard sound good haha so I'm not complaining (as a hardcore linear switch guy). Thanks for watching!
