Fell asleep after feeding my baby 😅...waking up at 4 am to catch Shabbat was worth it....going to finish where I left off. Happy Sabbath!
That is amazing that you joined at 4am! Wow. It was lovely to have you! Hope you enjoy the rest. Shabbat shalom!
I love this song amen
We're so glad! We love to sing it. Thank you for listening! We look forward to sing it together with you one day for Shabbat at The House.
Thank you what a blessing
You're so welcome! Thank you so much for listening - we're so glad it was a meaningful experience.
I just love the stories it teaches me the context of scripture Thank you you are appreciated dearly ❤
That is wonderful to hear! Thank you so much for listening, for the appreciation, and for noting how we try to teach and demonstrated an exegetical reading (contextual reading) of Scripture. God bless you!
Thanks!
You're so welcome! Thank you so much for the support. Lovely to have you here.
I'm so happy to see you Mrs Kendel ❤❤. Excellent work, as always. And for me, i'm going to change my view on people that confront me every day
Thank you so much for listening and for letting the story inspire you. That is simply wonderful. And it's good to have you here!
Can’t wait for this
That's awesome! See you tomorrow! :)
Amazing video ! I had been missing the House and was just going to watch an old video when I saw this had been posted. This story is something! God's wisdom shown through Nathan is just jaw dropping. David so quick to dole put some whooping while God is ready with mercy. "You are the man!..." imagine the shock, sudden panic, guilt and shame David felt....he didn't even need Nathan to spell it out from him. He knew exactly what was being discussed. I can relate to the sudden shame and there is no escaping it. God knew the only way Nathan could approach a man made into a king was to bring him something that required his professional assessment as a king...and boy did that work. And poor Bathsheda. I always disagreed with the stance that she enticed him. The Bible doesn't call her adultress. In all honesty how many of us would have been brave enough to tell your God appointed King to go flip off?...King David's bad choices really caused serious damages to everyone around including himself. Jesus wasn't lying when he said you'd better off plucking out your eyes if it may cause you to sin. 1 bad choice. 1 sin. Led to many sins and bad choices by the time you realize what's going on you see you've become a monster in the heart and you believe you are justified. Great production, the animation added some visual intensity for the story. Thank you for breaking down such a tragic but wisdom filled tale. God bless the team at The House.
Hi there. We're so glad you enjoyed this story and found it meaningful. And you're are spot on about your comment on Bathsheba. She is not in any way to blame for anything that happened. Nor does God put any of the blame on her. Any suggestion to the contrary has stemmed from a victim-blaming mentality, and projected unto the text. Bathsheba went on to have a close and trusting relationship with Nathan too. Which means that Nathan treated her well and in no way blamed her for what happened either.
@AtTheHouse Exactly! I was shocked to once hear a very well known and respected pastor suggested "she knew what she was doing out there"...like what? Having her purification bath since her mentural cycle had just ended....crazy how anyone can read the text and conclude "oh poor David" No one ever says maybe if King David had been at battle like the top commander should be, he wouldn't have had the time to be tempted 🤔
Thank you for this blessing
You're so welcome!
Looking forward to this
Yay! Us too!
I've missed these so much! Thank you for releasing these! You have a wonderful storytelling gift.
It's good to be back! Thank you so much for your kind words. And thanks so much for listening!
Me too. Was about to go listen to the previous ones
Who's ready for next week's special feature story? We can't wait to share it with you! 👂👂👂
The way you break down these stories is amazing. Stories we thought we knew but really did not, not completely. I love this. God bless you.🙏🏾❤️
Thank you so much for your kind words and for the appreciation - it means a lot! We're so glad that these stories can offer a depth which is meaningful! And thank you for listening.
❤ Wow! David truly had a repentant heart…to name his son after the Prophet, wow!! This is why he’s known as a man after God’s own heart. This brings me to tears in that God could have taken David out but showed him mercy instead! Thank you Natalie❤️
You're so welcome! Thank you for listening!
So enjoyed this! I was always gripped by Uriah's integrity and his loyalty to King David. I also wondered if King David was relieved that his secret was out. It had to be weighing heavily up on him. 6:20
So glad you hear you enjoyed the story, Kathy. Thank you so much for listening.
I enjoyed this very much. Thank you Natalie 🙏🏽 much to think about 😊
Thank you so much, Leilani! And thank you for joining (despite it being late there). It was such a treat nice to have you there!
Very nice. Thank you!❤
You're welcome. Thanks for listening!
Came across Nehustan this morning in my Bible reading concerning Hezekiah destroying it. Thank you so much for this amazingly detailed teaching!
You're so welcome! Hope your Bible readings keep being super exciting! Thank you so much for listening.
Excited!
Yay! Us too!
This was absolutely the best teaching on the Book of Ruth that I have ever heard.
We're so glad to hear that it was enjoyable! Thank you so much for listening. And for taking time out of your day to comment your appreciation. :)
Beautiful!
Thank you so much!
I love your biblical stories. You bring about a certain relatability to them.
We're so glad to hear that these stories are both enjoyable. And relatable. The Bible sure makes it easy on us to draw relatable lines - it's so much about real people! Thank you for listening and for the appreciation.
Finally!!!!!!! You have returned! I can’t wait!!!!
We're glad you're looking forward to more stories. See you soon!
I am a new bible reader, I honestly don't understand bible sometimes and I must say I was so confused when reading the answers Job gave to his people. From what I have been thought the "world view" I have been taught again that Job is a very good man who did only God, no one ever preached about this part of this book so I was so confused I had to run to TH-cam, I watched one video n went back to bible still confused. I came back here n I got this video, I feel better and nou I understand. Churches nowadays don't do justice to God's word..
Hi there and welcome to the channel! Thank you so much for sharing you experience - both of being a new Bible reader, finding parts in The Bible really confusing, and how this story in particular was confusing. I don't blame you at all - The Bible can be horribly confusing to read! And you're 100% right that soooo much of the sermons and information out there is misinformed, misapplied, confusing, and just downright wrong. That can be quite a scary and bewildering experience - especially if you're trying to find your way around this book. Thank you again so much for sharing - we're so happy that this video helped and clarified the story! If you're interested, there is a course called "How To Read The Bible" on TH-cam. It's completely free, and taught by Natalie Kendel (the pastor who is teaching in this video). You can go through the course here: th-cam.com/play/PL5a6TXbvYI_osXGi5mMRq5WEeCAENoUY7.html&si=k7ldwVpSYvZlTspx I think that may be a huge help in reading The Bible. Also, if you'd like to get an overview of what The Bible is about - to help you see the "big story" so it makes more sense, I can warmly recommend this other free course called "Covenant Theology". It is a pretty fantastic course that will blow your mind! Watch Covenant Theology here: th-cam.com/play/PL5a6TXbvYI_p6KNH8wlIRNrcV_r-5D7m2.html&si=AyK9YHIdFsHMKQre We hope these courses help! They offer tools and skills so you can read and study The Bible yourself (and avoid all that misinformation and nonsense that's out there). The House
@@AtTheHouse Thank you so much, this exactly what I need thank you 💐
I'm so glad this could help. Thank you again for your comment - we always love hearing from people who visit our channel.

The king is about to get a visitor... 👑 Here is the trailer for the first story of this winter's collection. "Naming Nathan" will be shared for our 'Shabbat at The House' event on Nov. 2nd 10am BST. See you then!
This such an Amazing , incredible truth. It resonates with me so deeply. I have struggled from childhood with feeling I had to be perfect,, needing to perform to be accepted. This comes out of a background of rejection. Thank you so much
Hi there, Beverley Thank you so much for sharing that. We're so glad that this story was meaningful and spoke to something real in your life (and I dare say, many others too). Sadly much of Christian tradition and communities are built on systems of fear, performance, and shame - the opposite of the values of Jesus' kingdom. We wish you so much kindness, and that you'll find new spaces and people that treat you like you're truly valuable - without having to earn it in any way.
Thank you this was helpful
We're so glad this was helpful! Thank you for watching. <3
God bless you
Thank you, Susan! <3
Intriguing
:)
I was really blessed by this ma, I always love to hear your voice
We're glad you found this story meaningful. Thank you for listening!
THIS IS SO BRILLIANT SO BIBLICAL, SO OUT OD THE DEPTHS OF FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE. IM SO PROFOUNDLY GRATEFUL FOR THIS EXEMPLARY TALK. BECAUSE THIS IS HAS BEEN MY EXPERIENCE FIR SO SO LONG. I MYSELF HAVE BEEN IN YEARS IF HOW LONG O LORD. BUT THIS SPECIFICALLY PUTS SUCH SUBSTANTIAL WORDS TO HOW I HAVE FELT ABOUT CHURCHIANITY FIE MANY YEARS AND HOW SUPERFICIAL AND RELIGIOUS IT IS. I LIVE THE TERM TOXIC POSITIVITY BECAUSE THAT IS A THAT IM SURROUNDED WHILE I WRESTLE IN THE DEPTHS WITH VARIOUS AFFLICTIONS. THANK YOU PRECIOUS SISTER. THANK YOU.
Hello there We're so glad that you found this story meaningful, and that it could put words to some of the very real things you have been, and are, experiencing. You're right in saying that so much of religious space have swallowed toxic positivity whole - mistaking it for a faith response. Thank you for listening, and for being here.
Every so often, since after the first time of watching this, I re-vist, I'm lead to re-vist by The RUACH HAKODESH, Hallelujah to HIS Holy Name. Sis, for your obedience to post this (and the TIMMING), II am truly grateful to you and YAHUAH!! As HE has indeed chosen this to become a part of my healing process assigned by HIM. One day, by HIS grace, when I share my completed testimony, all will make sense. Keep letting HIM use you Sis. You have such a POWEFUL MINISTRY!! All glory, honor and praise to The MOST HIGH YAH! Hallelujah Hallelujah Amen. Blessings and love to you. ❤❤❤❤ (p.s selfishly, can we PLEASE be getting more frequent videos? PLEASEEEEE 😂😂)
We're so glad to hear that you enjoyed this story, and have been able to return to it several times. Thank you for listening and also for sharing. We at The House hope that you continue to find our Bible stories meaningful experiences.
So beautiful. What a great video.
We're so glad you enjoyed it. And thank you for listening!
This is amazing! This is our identity. Forget our name, we are the disciples whom Jesus Loves.
So glad you enjoyed the story!
Thank you❤ so much is clarified.
We're so glad to hear that! Thank you for listening.
I love your channel! I love listening to this as I fall asleep 🤍
That is so lovely to hear! I love that you can find peace in these stories like that. Thank you so much for listening. Hope you rest well.
Thank you for sharing I was blessed to find your channel! Thank you for sharing the bible stories! GOD Bless you & all your loved ones!

Today I heard message about Heman, so happy to learn more about Heman, thank you
You're so welcome! Thank you for listening.
Quite helpful. I had been spending time reading the latter part of the first book of Chronicles and I was about to move on to continue with the Solomon saga in the second book. I could not move on because somehow, my summary on the musicians as described in chapters 15, 16 and 26 did not look complete. I had Asaph somehow clear, but Heman was getting lost among the total of 288 musicians [chapter 25] and missing the importance of Heman [a Kohathite?]. I found his Psalm 88 and searched for "A Maskil of Heman the Ezrahite." What a pleasant surprise your presentation. Thank You. [I guess I'll find Heman again during the dedication of Solomon's Temple]
Hi there. I'm so glad that this story could come as a sort of surprise along your journey through Chronicles. Thank you for sharing that, and thank you so much for listening. Heman is such a beautiful person in the story, and one of those under-appreciated characters.
The song and voices are gorgeous
Thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed the music.
Excellent! I miss your teachings. They are so profound.
We're so glad you enjoyed this story. Thank you for listening! We look forward to sharing more stories with you this coming year. If you haven't already checked them out, you can watch Bible courses with Natalie Kendel here: www.youtube.com/@zeteoschooloftheology

Gracias por los subtítulos. Mil gracias
De nada!
This passage was always my biggest gripe with what jesus taught. And now it makes so much sense. This was a great video
We are thrilled that this video could bring some clarity about this passage. Especially since, as you described, its common misinterpretations should indeed send off all sorts of alarm bells in people's heads (but often doesn't). Thank you so much for listening, and for taking the time to comment.
Thank you for this... ❤
You're so very welcome. Thank you for listening!
