In this case i shirted the constant 12v with the negative groung wire and that blow up a 20 amp fuse in the front fuse box

There is a No. 15 screw on the back You can use key 14 from the outside and 15 from the inside. Look under the rubber at the back
Also shows you on the wires…. Solid black ground black with white positive…🤷

Very good video in general. To everyone else doing this please isolate the lines. You twist caps for the wires or just some electrical tape. The voltage is not dangerous to you but it only takes one wire to slip to short and damage your stuff. Also, make sure your speaker wires are all isolate and do not touch. If any of those speaker wires touch each other you can short the fuse or IC on the head unit.

And you got to put lube on the moving parts of that adjuster so they don't freeze up in the future and make your brakes stick and wear out quick

@@azaelm4829 yeah I got the 2006 zx4 it's my wife's car that I hardly ever drive I'm keeping it because she passed away last year that's all.
Thank you for the video showing how to remove the visor just know that the remote has a release button that will pop that back window so you don't have to disconnect the assembly. But thanks again for showing how to get access to the visor, God Bless

I got 0.5V reading from the constant wire and ground any ideas what this could be? Other reading with ignition wire and ground was above 12V so ground is fine

Thanks so much dude! Glad you made this. I played with mine forever and never connected the accessory because I didn’t know it needed to be grouped with the positives. Did it your way off my battery and it fired up. Got me a little bit closer 🤘🏻❤

Im guessing 6v wont do the trick… and 24v is double the amount of what it can take so… idk, try the 6v, maybe it dont work properly or not enought power to turn it on… or try 24v and maybe burn the radio😄😅, careful.

If you find an old 12 volt DC & one of the lines has a white stripe going down it.... the one with stripe is your negative. Allows you to skip testing which is which. Just found that out cause I don't have a voltage meter. Thanks for the info, boutta test stereo now

@@azaelm4829 yes indeed, for some reason I have a problem with the ignition cable (red) and when the radio was attached it didn't work. So after doing your trick (mixing red and yellow), the radio now works.

Yes, you can at your own risk😅😬
you don't need a flat driver. there's a lever on a spring loaded pivot you just slide it over and the adjuster can move freely. it's on the bottom side of the adjuster.
Not to mention there self adjusting. when changing brakes you set it so the brakes can be installed that's the only time you would have to touch the adjuster.
Yeah but you have to adjust the adjuster before you put the drum on which was all the stupid problems I was having until I found this out . I bought new shoes and a new drum with the bearing inside it already and I thought I had that adjuster adjusted before I put the drum on but apparently I didn't. What a tricky piece of crap that Ford makes @@travissmith4102
