How can you start a battle with 1 mini turn icon?

I two shot this guy with strohl from the accessory doubling his damage with a crit, his weapon that increases the damage of synthesis, his synthesis skill, charge, full attack buff, full defense debuff. Did over 18k damage.

If I never fought Elizabeth from Persona 3 I never would have guessed how to beat this fight alone

My max damage after max debuff and buff with Prince is 1.4k 😂😢 I’m severely lacking MAG and don’t have any other royal archetypes (or tycoon) on anyone, so I’m left with void wave and hoping I can take for 10 turns 😭.

This has been patched…you can do the same thing only through the Amulet you get in Vault 1 in power city, cause the shield give you “shield” spell, which you cannot concerto into SP, while the amulet gives you a spell slot…

Where do you get the shield?

When I first played elden ring as vangabond, all the tutorials on the internet told me to use shield and guard counter etc. Willful liars, ALL! Just throw away the shield, two hand the sword and beat the crap out of everything with square off.

This proves how much of a joke Elden Ring is. Still trying to beat this boss using a STR/FTH build without having the mimic. I will never touch this garbage game ever again when I'm done with this crap. The amount of players that I've seen beating the bosses with this fucking mimic while I struggle like crazy despite soloing every boss in the soulsborne series, really? Seeing newcomers kill bosses quicker than a soul veteran like me is kind of like kicking a man when he's down.

Yeah this art is nuts. I started a second playthrough as a samurai and went to fight margit pretty much immediately and bc the uchigatana is so damn good he didn't give me too much trouble. Then on a third character I used a lordsworn straight sword with square off and it absolutely annihilated him lol, was not expecting it to outclass the katana so well

The stamina consumption of your hoarfrost stomp seems like it was pre-patch footage

From this clip you can clearly see all the: Vigor they have, and int since they can use Rennala/Ranni’s dark moon, plus the Mimic Tear is basically SOLOing Rennala so they definitely have high Dex/Arcane. Showing a high level clip doesn’t help when it comes to showcasing weapons or spells, because as you increase your stats, your damage on every weapon, weapon art, and spell will increase in turn. Can’t be like a lvl 300+ fighting a boss on any NG and use that for testing, it’s a terrible way to go about it.

It’s also a bug with mimic on the elden beast, if you stand on different sides it breaks the AI.

But it is nerfed... before you would have killed it with half the stomps, and the mimic is now stupid as hell. But it doesn't mean that the stomp is bad, or that the mimic can't be used as a damage sponge

I still use Stomp sometimes, but its not crazy like it once was. Mimic does seem to really be useless sometimes. Some fights she doesn't even attach, and Tiche has been much more reliable. Whats nuts here, is seeing the huge endurance bar... I might have to rethink my spec a bit. I went far into mind thinking that more casts before flask makes sense, but waiting on endurance a lot does suck. Esp when farming runes.

My mimic doesn't do anything near this crap, and I have him max lvl. Even pre patch he wasnt anywhere near this good. Wtf!!

70int, looks like 50 vig, 40ish mind and with the amour your wearing 25 end. So your character is probably 140-160. You're about 40 levels over the boss... the Mimic and FrostStomp aren't carrying you, it's the over levels.

What got nerfed about the mimic tear exactly? Is his health lower now? So pre patch he would've had perfect health?

Yeah I don't agree with people saying that the mimic nerf is a good thing I mean yeah it can basically carry you through the game but you can't use it in multiplayer I can understand the other nerfs since you can use them in pvp but the mimic is a summon and you can't use summons in multiplayer period it was an unnecessary change imo
