Björk has a warm space in my heart since her music was the voice that drove me as a teenager during difficult times back then. I'm 36 now. With that said, this version got me. The arrangement of the harp and the performance of the instrument is amazing! Simply gorgeous, Ruth. The way Charo sings is so pure and honest. I rarely like a Björk cover but this is by far the favorite of them all. I bet Björk herself would agree with me. Amazing job!

Just gorgeous! I need to hear more of this wonderful composer! I have just about all that's currently available on CD. I can't get enough!

This cover is exquisite and it is so hard to do a unique Bjork cover. Charo’s voice is effortless, not heavy but laser focused in timbre, melody and texture. Ruth you play so delicately but with this delicious percussiveness that drives this piece like a neural spark. Excellent work

Extremely disappointed with the fact that you didn't do that beautiful harp note right before "I never thought I would compromise" which is the most important part of the song

What a beautiful and peaceful sound! Thank you both for recording and performing this song so artfully. I love the slightly slower tempo and the vocal improvs at the beginning and ending of the piece. It really lets the loveliness of those 3 simple chords sink in. Nice work on the harp too - just the perfect instrument for the peace and gratitude that this song offers.
