Lindsay is so white, she doesn't understand soul food.

I grew up during the 70s and there were a few kids who had white mothers, they definitely identified as black. Back then there was no such thing as biracial, you were either black or white, if you were racially mixed then you were considered black, because the black gene is the more dominant gene in terms of outward appearance. Back then most whites did not accept the racially mixed people, but blacks did accept them.

As an old drag racer that has three grown kids and 42 years of a great marriage under my belt, this whole interview was such a breath of fresh air. This couple is a true family, and really have their act together and priorities straight!!!! Young couples need to emulate them, and this world would be in a whole lot better shape!!! Craig is the man. That's funny as a father of three mixed kids out of five the three younger girls I always said well I got my two oldest who are white and then I have my black daughter my Puerto Rican daughter and my Mexican daughter. And I am a white male and I'd become so of a protector because are there race. I have friend told me that I'm a white man I said no I'm black I am anything but white it was harder to raise my kids of color color because of everything then it was my caucasian kids but they're still my kids and I love them just the same

Seems like he hated it and felt betrayed and discarded and like she would be jumping on a band wagon rather than being the core of the team the one calling the shots. I wonder how he feels now, months down the road and with the lived experience of being on the team instead of his outward perception.

Pro tip, I make my candy yams with little marshmallows and round flat fried sausage on top. The salty of the sausage goes perfect with the sweet of the brown sugar and marshmallows! 😉
