I hope peace comes and dont hate a community just because it written somewhere in the book to hate them which is totally wrong

I lived in Almere. Within 1 year I wanted to run away from there screaming. Before I moved people already warned me not to move to Almere. And then I lived in a neighborhood known as good for Almere. In Almere the weather is worse than average in NL. Also too much; nuisance, strange snouts, asos, crime, racists, cold aloof unreliable unfriendly arrogant people. The atmosphere there is ridiculously boring and depressing! However, you do have space there and many beautiful houses that don't look alike.

As a expat I love Almere, the beautiful new modern look just love it. Amsterdam is old, to many people everywhere, narrow roads higher crime rate, very expensive.

I lived there... for 3 months, not much but still... I ah... Miss this place 😞

Nice video! Do you want to walk through Leidsche Rijn someday? It looks very nice in my opinion. Also Amsterdam Noord nearby the Ij-river would be nice. For example from the Eye museum to NDSM. Also the centre of Noord. Always interested in seeing updates on areas with a lot of development!

I spent my early childhood in Almere. Watching this video is an almost visceral and emotional experience for me. My mother and I would casually walk in the Centrum. There was a time when I was pepper-sprayed as a young child by another, slightly older child on rollerblades who skated away afterward. Although that was a deeply traumatizing event for not only myself, but I'm certain it also vicariously traumatized those around me on that day who heard my cries for help, and the countless others who have heard me share that experience as part of my quest to heal and make sense of why or how that occurred. I say to that child, you are forgiven, and I hope you can forgive yourself if you haven't already done so. In closing, this video is overall reminiscent of a more youthful and innocent time in my life. I want to thank the uploader for sharing their video which allowed me to revisit a part of my childhood, and share my thoughts with all of you.

60% van de bevolking uit de Jordaan is in de 70er en 80er jaren naar Almere verhuisd. Hierdoor zijn buurten als de Jordaan compleet veranderd. Vroeger een arme volksbuurt, nu een woke juppen Expats bubbel. Almere stemt ook heel anders dan Amsterdam.
