This guy is the definition of how TH-cam used to be! So sick! Keep up the great videos!
Thank you man! I appreciate it big time. Trying to bring good content to people.
67 does not have side marker lights!
Always great work and amazing contact during the process.
The jump when something pinged was funny
Thanks for all the info on abrasives! I've always used the Walter, but I'm def gonna grab a bunch of those 👍If that bit doesnt work out, Dewalt makes a really nice Swiss made version step-drill. Seem super long lasting and reasonably priced. They've lasted me 2x longer than anything else and they're still good to go. Im gonna order the one you featured to try as well, l need a larger one like that. Never new what I was missing till I tried step bits!
Right on man, thanks for the info! I'll keep that in mind. If you want a code for a discount on your whole order use Murillofab10 for 10% off whole order!
@murillofabworks Thank you sir! I will. Just subbed👍
What do you use to take mil-scale off of new metal? I'm defenitly not a great metal fabractor, but starting out.
I don't use alot of hot rolled steel or A36 plate. Cold rolled or P&O is a little more expensive but worth the price when you factor in labor to remove mil-scale. That being said if you had to buy hot rolled, the easiest way to strip the mil-scale would be a 36grit ceramic fiber disc from benchmark abrasives. It's gonna leave deep scratches but them you can go up in grit to remove deep scratches.
@@murillofabworks Awesome thank you
Hell yeah let’s go 🔥 appreciate you pops is getting motivation again 💪🏽
Dude i'm excited to see him chuggin away at this once i'm done. Nothing like father and son cruising together 🤘🏼Glad to be a part of the build.
HELL YEAH, GET DOWN BIG BOSS!!!💯
Thank you bro! Gotta get one of my dream low low's in for some work. 🤘🏼
From every angle, a unique , unexpected, unprecedented, unparalleled, unmatched masterpiece
Thank you! I appreciate that
Always building never racing what's up with that
A busy man never gets free time. 😔
Is that one of them Alston sub frame and rear end kit?
This is the speedway g-comp front clip, and church boys racing triangulated 4 link kit in the rear.
Yeah, that bodyline will be fun.
Definitely worth the work though. 🤘🏼
Best videos of all time!
Thank you broski! We're about at same progress point on these nova's!
Great video!!
Thank you! Much appreciated. 🤘🏼
Awesome work. Looking Sharp.
Thanks Pete!
Love the page!!!!! You do some bad ass work!!!
Thank you I appreciate it! I try to stay on top of putting out good content for everyone for watch.
Be safe!
Had a little doozy on that one. 😂
Good deal bro!what state are u in?
I'm located in Scottsdale, AZ.
@@murillofabworks ok. You've got a new subscriber all the way from nc!
@@dimitricrozier999 much appreciated, if i'm out in North Carolina i'll give you a shout. Might be at LSFEST EAST this year. It's in Bowling Green, KY.
@murillofabworks I'm in the process of building a 66 chevyll as well. Next is my 66 hard top

What size wheels you running . I’m running 275/35/20 and have to do the same raise fenders up a inch to lay on the ground
These are 405/25-24's on the rear. 24x15's... the madness will ensue in the couple of weeks on what has to happen to lay the bed on the ground. Make sure to stay tuned!
Which Hydro Shocks did you find fit the CBR and rear 4 link best? WHat Spring rates? I am looking at getting them for my 62 Chevy II. Also, what size front and rear wheels and tires are you going with on the build?
We did 4" travel shocks for the CBR front clip. I believe we did 400lb rate. The car will be on a 20x9 front and 20x10 rear with a custom four link and ford 9"
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Nice parts. I have a Smith Racecraft front end on order that should be here in June. I can't wait.
Nice, smith racecraft is solid. I just prefer the looks of the church boys racing front clip. It's alot sleeker and the downbars are hidden on the fender well side instead of inside engine bay where space is valuable.
@@murillofabworks I agree. I would have gone with Church Boys or Detroit Speed for best all around performance. My focus is drag racing and I wasn't willing to give up the advantages of the Smith Racecraft for that purpose. It will be cool to see you get it all setup.
@@hangfire6368 unfortunately that car won't be finished by me or my shop. I posted one last video of it on my channel with the mittler bros hydroshox and brakes.
How wide is the notch???
Not sure on that question. It's made for the 99-07 NBS trucks. Fits perfectly.
What front clip is that?
Speedway G Comp front clip with QA1 adjustables.
Question for you, do you specialize in Chevy 2's and Nova's ???
Yes I would say they are one of my specialties. I'm primarily a C10 guy for sure though. I've built and cut up many a C10.
It's a 1963.
@@peteamador7743 hahaha I was close 🤷🏻♂️ I guess not quite as specialized as I thought.
Just move to Vegas and I’ll help you lol
@@goosseperformance1444 nooooo my friend. You move out here to Arizona.
What welder are you using thanks
I'm using the Everlast Lightning MTS 275. It's a multiprocess welder, has MIG, TIG, and stick welding capabilities. Definitely worth checking them out.
Got anything for a mazda?
Unfortunately I don't make custom suspension parts, what are you looking for and maybe I can guide you in a direction.
@@murillofabworks just a better road coilover kit for a 2015 Mazda 3.
I just checked out Mittler bros. & yeah they are pricey but my guess is this you get what you pay for. 👍 I can't wait to see this when it's done. Any idea what color your client is going with???
It's a secret at the moment but it will be a cool color. Yes they are not cheap but they are top of the line products. You get the best of both worlds ride height adjustment and coilover suspension.
Looked like that c10 was getting some as well
Oh yeah everyone was getting down out there!
Man i should go to church more. Make me say oh God seeing that dope ass shit
If you scared...go to church 😂
That Nova was cold bro!!
Thank you man! It will always be my all time favorite car along with the jackass who drives it 😝
Some good body work
You already know 😝
Ya ya boy that's the shit i need done on my 97 gmc obs
Lets get er done! You got my contact info right.
Ya your IG off the 90 obs, just remind I was with dude with the big beard and drunk
Man it was cool chopping it up with you at ls fest,i have some ideas for sheet metal work on my 97 obs like a 3 piece bed cover with built-in wickerbill. A nice dash insert so you can run holley efi gages,no digital dash for me.a trip to see might be in the future,That 90 obs is a badass.
That would be cool!

Sweet!
So stoked for this show!
Not an ls guy. You can keep it. Would like to see more of the Nova work though.
You're going to be disappointed in the Nova buddy. It's getting a stroked LS2 with a whipple. The show is for marketing and advertising, and a little vacation before the nova goes under the knife for some serious metal fabrication.
Nice brakes. Those look like the Supelite Calipers not the Aero6. Aero 6 are the big boys. What's the part number?
You are correct! They are the superlite 6R, oops. I'd say these are still big boys though 14" rotors on a 1966 nova. The video says the part numbers in it. 140-8922 and 140-10012
@murillofabworks right on 14" rotors are cool, but it's the caliper size between the two that makes the difference. My buddy had a set of Aero 6s and held them up next to my Superlties, and it was a significant size difference between the calipers and pistons. They looked like C6ZR1 or CTS V caliper sized.
What happened to the NBS build
It's all done now cruising the streets. I didn't get around to doing finishing video 😔
@@murillofabworks Damn I was enjoying them vids cause I want to do the same thing to mine but do you have the owners insta? By chance
It's yonke_on_6s on IG.
It's definitely not an easy task if you're not a fabricator. Just a heads up.
@@murillofabworks oh nah I meant like I’m going to send it to someone to do it. Because I was wondering how much it would cost for all that to be done.
New subscriber.. coming from goose performance channel
Heck yeah man! Hopefully you enjoy the content. Always appreciate the support!
Hey where u get the tubs
Switch Suspension has all the goodies. Front tubs are from Reklez Suspension.
Bro great video love your work you just need a mike
Yeah I know 😔
As the former owner of 2 '66 Nova's ,I have to say your work is outstanding. You're actually doing all the things I would have done with mine. Question though, is he/she painting the bumper or having it rechromed ? Getting rid of those carriage bolts is a necessity 👌 !!!
Thank you! I appreciate the compliments. I want this car to look how it should have from factory and have a clean sleek look. The car will be painted along with bumpers to match. Unfortunately I can't reveal the color just yet but it's gonna be real cool for sure!
Check out the latest video, it gets more wild than just bumpers. 😝
20x12
Too wide lol rim size is correct though.
@@murillofabworks they 20x10z then
285-40 possibly has to be atleast a 20x11
The closest so far! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
20x8
They're 20's but not 20x8 😝 wider.
275/35-20
Closest answer so far. Wider though. 😏
20 inch rims
You got part of it right!
I built a badass cateye crew cab street truck then I crashed it trying to off the freeway in a monsoon that came out of no where 😢 now I have a single cab gmc same year I'm building 😎
Terrible news man. 😔 hopefully the cateye you're building comes out badass!
