Awesome stylish family vehicle, ultimate cruiser. For those irked by lack of all wheel drive, the V6 power and transmission overcomes this for everyday driving. I regularly drive to the farm which has gravel and muddy in rainy days _ have never been stuck nor compromised even with full load of adults and cargo.

Excellent. I bought it - the F Sport Handling model - and love it, and think it's ultra-attractive & a Japanese-built model that exudes Lexus quality and engineering. It's Special!

I've driven Toyotas for over 20 years and love them. But on this 2025 4Runner, I don't like the prop rod that holds up the front hood, don't like those black fender flares, and don't like those flat paint colors. I hope they will offer some shiny, metallic colors. And why did they go with a 4-cylinder engine?!!! Why did they not offer a more fuel-efficient 6-cylinder engine?

I must have missed the 6 cylinder version. Will never ever Ever spend even 35k on any 4 cylinder. Don’t matter the output. The Lexus gets 6 cylinder? Gimme a fkcng break Toyota. Btw bought brand new 2,3, 4th gen 4 runners for under $34!

I wonder how exorbitant the price will be? Fully loaded shouldn't be more than $50K since this will be equipped w a 4 banger and seats 5? Wishful thinking......

"Price $43K" is 2 wheel drive base vehicle. 4 wheel drive version, starting about $50K . Hybrid starting about $58K.

The only complaint for me is price and any dealer markup stupidity. Toyota has updated everything in the 4Runner and done a marvellous job. Would suck to have a previous generation dinosaur.

Unfortunately Toyota is promoting tech and glitz over function and reliability. I will stick with my 2022 4Runner for the foreseeable future as this looks like just another tacoma/tundra debacle

A four cylinder twin turbo is a no for me. Hybrid is also a great big fat no. Toyota will no longer be a top of the line reliable SUV. It'll simply be just another of the many out there today. Changing the ergonomics just doesn't continue the supiority it once had. Top Grar BBC show once did a bit about the 1984 Toyota pickup and how indestructible it was. The 4Runner followed suit. Until 2025 that is. Now It'll just a run of the mill SUV. I'm done with Toyota. I've owned mine four thirteen years and will continue to drive until it falls apart.

That would be a good front end for their trucks and vans.
