They were supposed to do the chrome lip on the rear wheels to match, but it was changed right as they went into production unfortunately. With the amount of delays at that point, I didn't fight it. It bugs me as well. It just would have added who knows how many extra weeks if not months to getting them. The oil is from the factory, I've noticed it on some other GreenLight cars as well. Not sure why they don't completely wipe that off before packaging them. Sorry about that! Great review! :D

I bought the pretty blue one but I only want to put Ford pickups on it. Well guess what? You can’t fit any pickups on the lower part of the carrier. They just won’t fit. Since the carrier is 1/64 I only tried putting the Greenlight pickups on. I can only get two on top and none on the bottom. Waste of money. If only the carrier had moving parts.

On eBay there’s a guy who makes 1:64 sliding 5th wheels which tilt forward and back like DCP but you can actually mount the frame if it to your truck and are able to actually move the 5th wheel forward and backwards about 3/8” total movement which is slot for those trucks. And they are honestly not bad if you buy them in bulk and reasonable if you just want to do 1 or 2 trucks as well. I got 2 for $17 after taxes and shipping and if you’ve ever bought just the 5th wheel plate for a DCP then you know that’s a reasonable price cause just the plates without a way to mount it into another truck is $5+ tax n shipping!! I have a fair few spec cast trucks that I don’t like the 5 wheels on so I’m definitely going to be buying more!! It will also get rid of that slop and movement the spec cast 5th wheels have in them! Just a recommendation!! Hope it helps again sorry for the long comment thank you for the content!

You didn’t screw it up it is called the 5th wheel!! The little pin that sticks off the bottom of the trailer is called the king pin. There are different models of 5th wheel and some people may choose to call them by their brand name. But the basic component itself is called the 5th wheel!!

Why would they make the top deck of the trailer slanted like that, and not level?

I like the magnets at the bottom to keep the front from swinging out. I’m not seeing those on the models available online currently. These look great for cars you want to keep boxed or even more expensive resin models you don’t want to remove from the base they come on.

nice truck I"m going to have to get one of them to go with the JL version coming this month. The license plate is what was on the truck at the start of Pt 2 as a nod to the 2nd film and at the time was just going to be 1 film as pt 3 was going to be included but not to make the movie too long was split into the 2 parts. The plate seen at the end of the first film was 2EZP916
