Hey, I like your rendition. Yours is somber and brings out the haunting sounds of that organ. Often found on Netherlands organs. I'm working on the Hereford Willis organ. My rendition is different, using big chords with some crescendo in the early center measures then carry the lead line through on the great with a simple 8 foot principal. Its a decidedly modern piece that lends it self to organ. Proves organ is not just for "OLD" music

In reality this song is a historical fake. It was never sung in Italy by the communist partisans. It was reworked by copying it from the gypsy accordionist Mishka Ziganoff (original title “Klezmer-Yiddish swing music”) in a collection of songs of the Italian Socialist Party in 1955. Then she was made famous later, especially thanks to the Spanish series "La Casa de Papel".

3 years later I still can't get enough of this interpretation. The chorus sounds almost like a hymn or anthem.

I love this powerfull bass expression - I felt like the old days when I've had played organ myself, when I had opportunity to felt "kiss" of bass ranks on my face more as vawes than sounds... Nice :)
