What is prayer?
an act of communication by humans with the sacred or holy-God, the gods, the transcendent realm, or supernatural powers.
why is it important we pray?
Prayer allows us to worship and praise the Lord. It also allows us to offer confession of our sins, which should lead to our genuine repentance. Moreover, prayer grants us the opportunity to present our requests to God. All of these aspects of prayer involve communication with our Creator.
When should we pray ?
All times.
Every year the Association of kenyans living in Burundi conduct prayer breakfasts . The main items we pray for are :
1. Our origin home country #kenya
2.The nation of #burundi
3.our #embassy
4.#peace in #eastafrica communities and #world
5. Global #climatechange and harsh #economy
6. Good working relationships in #eastafrica and general blessings.

Let's be careful on this thing: I am a Burundian in the UK and love seeing so many Kenyans helping to develop Burundi further. But this problem I raise, we have it too among Burundians in the UK: We start functions with Christian prayers. But if we do not extend the opportunity for other confessions to make their prayers, it is quite disrespectful. Respect between communities is a big factor in development. Let's never forget this. You will be surprised to hear price of land is very affordable as compared to other African countries! Well, in reality Burundi needs investors when it comes to internet and electricity as you have said . As per now I can say it’s Monopoly system .

Not a Francophone thing to be slow . West African French speakers are awoken nd French themselves. Burundian culture is based on solidarity. Helping 1 another.. Peaple were raised in communal societies were they share things. This Kindness made Burundians not rush or desperate in life because they were sure Peaple ll help. If they were hungry, they know someone would give food. If thirsty, they know someone at Bar ll share his Beer with them even get Drunk without Money. Don't be surprised if a stranger asked to buy him a Beer. Life is so Good nd easy that my people won't rush to chase Life😂 I ve seen many Peaple from much developed Countries than Burundi where hardship has corrupt them,they hardly even help other person for little Stupid things in life..where a Burundian would just help without questioning. 🙄
