@@jinbrosfiguresitout3816 The messaging was all off. Told us he didn’t know where we got the $250k goals, ignoring that his very first update clearly showed him unlocking items every $250k. He then said he just gave them out whenever he felt like it which felt even shittier because he already made 16X what he was asking for but we just had to be happy with what “he” was “allowing” us to have. Very condescending.

Which i really hope the kickstarter one visually fits with the current retail line, i understand the first one wouldnt mainly because there was no line going in terms of the articulation

@@jkhadem5729 I just got the Bloody version of this figure. I’ll show it off in my next video so you can see how his leg looks when you straighten it out. This Still is my absolute favorite McFarlane figure ever made. Can’t believe I forgot about this gem for this long. I should’ve got him years ago.

@@riderkix They look nice don’t get me wrong… but they were not a figure that was worth $60. The articulation was lacking, the paint was minimal and there were only a few accessories. The cape was great but the mortal Kombat 11 spawn had more articulation and better detail work.

Idk i dont have al displayed with my current spawn figures becausw he looks so out of placw with the torso and stupid large metal chains and single jointed arms plus the modern one sucks no spawn head

@@ComicFanMan to me it's worth it. The figure itself is only $40 compare that to what was released the same time with it, yeah definitely worth it. And have you seen the latest super 7 DLX lion o? It's $35 only come with sword of omen and claw shield, barely has paints and sculpts.

@@riderkix Yes super 7 is definitely overpriced. The spawn figure with shipping was over $60 just like this spawn with shipping is over $80 even though it’s listed as $53. But again I feel the value is there because he has the articulation, paint, sculpt and a lot of accessories. I’m not in anyway trying to say you waisted your money. I’m glad you are happy with your purchase. But it just wasn’t worth it for me and not worth a Kickstarter in my eyes. But it’s all good. We are all in this hobby to be happy. Enjoy if you got it brother.

@@ComicFanMan the comic that came with the figure itself is worth more than what I paid for the figure, now 🤭 and as for the figure, the entire figure was painted black, spawn is lack of colors 🤭, and as for the material used for the figure it's not the same as the regular figure (ie MK Spawn), it feels denser, heftier and more solid. The accessories too, they are not made of the regular gummy plastic. I agree it lacks articulation, but it really is not that bad if you know how to work around it. It's the cape actually hinder most of the poa. If you have the chance to get one at a decent price, go get it. I really recommend the figure.

@@damiencruz6747 Mortal Kombat spawn came out the same year. And it was a much better figure at 1/3 the price. Also MedSpawn has always been a fan favorite design and has also been artistically a better design than OG spawn. Now taking into account all the benefits of this figure over first KS it is a much better value than the first KS. Just on accessories it blows the first one out of the water. I can understand the first one being the main character of the book brings more nostalgia feelings for some. But as far as figures, this one is better in every way.

@@damiencruz6747 I disagree with that. The first one was a rip off. There was no detail to the figure, the articulation was terrible, the paint job was minimal and his accessories were lacking. I think mortal kombat 11 spawn was a better figure. The KStarter spawn just had a better cape. But the figure was a basic staction figure with minimal paint. The Medieval Spawn has real articulation, great detail work to his armor an amazing amount of accessories now the we hit most of Todd’s goals and his paint job is complex. MSpawn is better in every way to the first KS by a mile.

Considering that the Medieval Spawn Kickstarter is a continuation of making updated versions of the Series 1 Spawn figures from 95 that began with the Spawn Kickstarter back in 2020. The Battle Horse didn't come out till Spawn Series 3 and while it'd be cool to get an updated version of it doesn't exactly fit in with the focus on modernizing the Spawn Series 1 line. Another thing to consider is the fact that the Medieval Spawn Kickstarter went into or was already in production at the time of the Kickstarter launch adding anything new, especially something on the scale of a modernized battle horse would add a significant amount of time to the production. That additional production time translates into a longer wait for backers to receive their rewards and while same backers have non-issue waiting a year or longer to receive stuff they've pledged for others want their stuff much faster.

@@Noble2dn Yea a marketing stunt that backfired. He got to $1.6 mil in 3 days and as soon as he announced the unlocks it didn’t move. I think he just got to $1.7 today which is 6 days till it ends…

@@DennisMangual I think they poorly planned and rushed this. The extra goals should’ve been made clear from the beginning. The Kickstarter started out like gang busters and then as soon as he started to update “free stuff” at every $250k the backing virtually stopped at $1.6 Mil. It hasn’t moved since. He needs to address this BS soon.

@@archmage7813 The writers were definitely not at all the same. That is why Mattel stopped production of the CGI show. The writers of that show were brought over to revolution to fix what the first team did. Kevin Smith and Ted biaselli were still the creative leads but the writing was far better than revelation because Rob David who is the Mattel Lore lead writer was brought in this time. And so long as he is a part of it I’m sure it will succeed if they continue the story arc. If you liked it then good on you. There are some movie I found entertaining even with bad writing. But I would never defend them on the merit of they were good writing when it clearly wasn’t. The fact that the first show was a poorly written mess doesn’t have to take away from the fact that you were entertained, but it doesn’t change the fact that it was poorly written.

You're talking about facts and then literally being completely wrong, which means what you're saying can't be fact. Objectively it was a well-written tightly Scripted show. Very well done. This is actual objective fact. There was no mess as you say to try to give yourself cover. You don't like it so clearly it had to be a mess. And yet it was the same writers hilariously enough and the story was a continuation. It was very clear from the very beginning of your paragraph that you had no idea what you're talking about and were just going to try to sound smart so you cover what I suspected was the actual problem. @@archmage7813 Sorry but you are wrong. The rating tanked after the first 5 episodes were released. First 5 episodes was on top 10 list for 2 days then disappeared. The second 5 never cracked top 10 at all. It was poorly written. Animation was great but not enough to save the show. Revolution was well received by all and had a great story arc and stayed in the top 10 for weeks. Those are facts.

That means professional critics. You know the people who actually know what they're talking about loved it. They thought it was great.
