Come join the adventures of my crazy life. Come follow along with me as I raise my special needs daughter and 3 boys (1 who is working on becoming a pro surfer and skater). All while trying to get healthy again and loose the babu weight from my last 2 groms. Come join the life of a crazy skater/surfer mom with a singing special princess and 3 crazy daredevil boys. Who knows I may even get myself back out on the surfboard one day myself. 🤙🏼
Oh and did I mention I’m starting this Vlogging journey and healthy lifestyle change in the middle of a pandemic while the kids are doing virtual learning at home. 🤪

Grommie that was really really good, you read that wave so well and it was such mature surfing. I really loved the way you got through the flat sections, it was perfectly done, the way you pumped rail to rail and carved those nice big arcs was delivered with the exact right amount of energy, it was amped but still controlled and clean. Then the inside stood up and you went to town on it and you finished it really well with the last turn and that tweak of the tail. Great surfing mate and just keep that wave in mind and aim for more of that type of control and froth in just the right amounts.
Yes we will work on more rail To rail for sure! Jb2 also said he understands what you are saying about carving harder up top. He said stay tuned for those changes! Thank you so much! 🙏🏼
Great first turn in this video Grommie, you can see how well you powered the rail by how clean and good the spray is and then you definitely milked everything you could out of that one. The backhand is looking good and the next step I wanted to mention is about driving the rail out of the top and creating a bigger arc in some of your top turns and carve it out of the top as a different variation of your backhand top turn. And then I wanted to mention that it is always better if you can go rail to rail through the flat sections, sometimes you have to pump it up and down (we call this the Huntington hop or killing cockroaches) but most the time it looks better and is respected more by judges if you can keep your board going rail to rail and get through the dead energy that way, hard to do but worth trying and learning. Thanks again JB2
Yeah JB2 great to be seeing and coaching another one of your videos, I see from mum this is two edits so I am going to deal with them separately and firstly that sick air, loved it mate and how stoked you were after it i liked your froth too. For me I really enjoy watching you bring the moves you do in your snowboarding and your skateboarding and transfer them across into your surfing, it is not an easy thing to do but you are making it look good and that air looked like that. Early week 1 contender for Best Air i'd say. On the backhand video I liked what I saw but have a couple bits of advice for you to consider - firstly focus on your back foot power and pressure both out of the bottom and then also out of the top of the wave, work on carving the rail down the face and putting more rail into your turns out of the top and they will have more arc. I also believe you should play with the idea of softening your upper body with the goal of getting extra rotation of your upper body so you can get more vertical and add fluidity to the performance. Does that make sense? freer it up, carry no stress or tension, soften up a bit and then rotate the upper body smoothly and it will look sick. Thanks again Grommie.
Thank you so much for the awesome words of wisdom! I’m going to take these helpful tips into the Skudin surf wave pool this week during my dream team practice and I’m going to shred it up freely and hard! I’m so STOKED to be in the Blast Off again!!! Thank you so much! 🙏🏼🤘🏼🤙🏼 JB2 Out. 🤮🤮🤮
