Dude, you got a real deal with that Tweetsie Ten Wheeler! I got the “Hobbes Green” variation of the #12 for about $100 on TrainWorld when they were on clearance, and that thing has no sound at all! Though, on the flip side, it was also brand new, so I suppose it evens out.

A Tweetsie 4-6-0 for $110 is an insanely good deal. "Car dock." I mean, with some older "land yachts" it can sure feel like you're coming into a dock when you park them. Perhaps, equipment permitting, live stream some of the work on rolling stock. That way we, your loyal army of not at all strange fans, can discuss crimes and memes and keep you motivated.

Idk if you came up with this or not, but this is a very novel concept. Considering I'm likely never going to be able to make a layout that takes up more space my current layout, At some point I might end up making a standard gauge version of this when I'm older.

Never would I have imagined such complex operations coming from such a simplistic track layout. You've done something that many model railroaders fail to do: Turn a loop of track with a small number of switches into something that would be genuinely fun to operate. Also, I have to say it, I'm highly impressed by the amount of geographical research you did to justify the placement of certain industries along the layout. An excellent little running session, and proof that you don't need a big layout to have fun operating. Looking forward to more in the future from the W&PK.

I love how you made so much out of so little track and board. I don’t have as much track and need to get some more for my layout but the idea of going around several times until you get to the next town is so neat.

My dad is the same way as I am starting my main large layout. I collect the trains not him he just loves to help and stay busy. I have something specific for my On30 layout and he sees something online and loves it or he thinks of something he just says we should do it. I just told him he has space in his basement he can do his own layout I wouldn’t mind helping him as well. He loves red rock Arizona especially Sedona so Dave’s videos doesn’t help 😅. I wouldn’t say he has Autism though. Just a need to stay busy and help his kids

I don't know if you're planning on doing this but, painting the sides of the rails and sleepers makes a layout look so much better. I picked this up from watching That Model Railway Guy on TH-cam. I have used it on my OO9 layout that I am building and I can run a bachman quarry Hunslet over with no problems, if your worried about power getting to a loco.

for some reason these videos randomly came to mind so I spent like thirty minutes seeking em out (probably could've done it way faster...) feels weird that this is *only* five years ago even though that totally makes sense- maybe it's just because so much has happened since and like, im pretty much NOTHING like how i was five years ago hahahah it's interesting though seeing how some parts still kinda synced with the music like the beams at the start and the cannon shots at the end! pretty neat too how it waits for the music to catch up every few attacks. none of that registered in my mind when i first watched this hahahah, i was like 10 or 11 so i was just giggling at how the silly little boss guy's movement was funky- dunno what the point of this comment is really bahahahah, just my nostalgia talking i guess- glad to see the channel's still going though!!! the model train stuff genuinely looks super cool so i might pop in every now and then hahah

An hour? Good lord, this is by far your longest video so far (not counting stream VODs). Half way through it, and since you asked for a critique, all I have to say so far is that it feels just a tad slow in terms of pacing. Everything else has been pretty darn good thus far. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ After finishing the video: Your perfectionist side is definitely showing through in this one. Also we definitely need more FathSteR cameos in these videos. The shorty combine turned out beautifully, and I'll 100% agree that it's PB&J colored lol. Very cute when put with Snickerdoodle. Loved it all around, hope some day you can do a stream where you build a simpler kit.

A bit long winded fo me but nice end results. Makes me want to pick up a trench engine myself.

Nice little Mogul To The Collection

22 is a very fancy little mogul, and she's definitely worthy of carrying the lettering of the W&PK. The new lore does give me some questions, mostly regarding another locomotive that you mentioned in this video. The Budweiser tender has proven itself useful for something. Hopefully the wrecked locomotive will be able to be used for something else now that there isn't going to be a broken bridge. Ah, the classic tale: Had an engine with a problem, tried to fix it, couldn't fix it, got another engine, unwittingly broke it in the same way as the first, and only then fixed them both. That gondola must've been out for your soul because damn did it not want to stay on the track. 22's decoder must've been working alongside that gondola to give you the most trouble it possibly could. An excellent example of Murphy's Law. Also can I just say, your father's layout is epic. Another excellent video, and good to see a new locomotive for the W&PK fleet. Hope to see many more in the future.

The camera does not make the green on Number 22 noticeable, I actually love that green, though!

Wait… if 22 is a “more modern engine”, wouldn’t it make more sense for 21 to have the wood cab, and 22 to have the steel cab?
