At 1:17 the sun stars look alot like the Samyang 12mm F/2, but no idea about other scenes. Hoping that @Living Images will share some details :)

It does have an integrated intervalometer indeed, but like in most other cameras, I don't find it very useful for day to night sequences. When you start the intervalometer, you can't control any of the exposure parameters - except the aperture ring of the lens. That's why I would recomment using an external intervalometer, which triggers the shutter while you can still operate the camera in manual mode. For most of the starry sky sequences, I used the samyang 12mm f2.0 at f2.0 or max f2.8 with iso 1600-3200 and 20-25s of exposure time! Thank you so much for your feedback!

The video here was shot entirely with the Fuji X-T20. I still use both cameras, not only on landscape scenes, but also on wedding photography, real estate etc. Which camera I use just depends on the choice of focal length. I've got different primes for each system. The one thing I prefer on my Nikon is just the body (handling and button layout) especially with big glas. Not a big difference in the concern of shooting night timelapses!

Thank you Igor, really appreciate it! I only used the Samyang 12mm 2.0 and the cheap Kit lens version 16-50mm. Oh, and in the one scene over the rooftops of Bamberg I used my 35mm 2.0. That are all the lenses I have for the X-system, as I also shoot a Nikon D750. But the Fuji is my go to camera when I am on the move :)
