ISX 2350 fuel check valve
Engine off, I removed the return line and crank the engine. The valve is not leaking but the return line seeping quite a bit. I was told by Rawze that the pipe shouldn’t be seeping a lot of fuel either. So I really need to rebuild the fuel pump

Checking the plungers to see if they loose the resistance. They start to feel less and less resistance the more times I press them down. (No I am not an expert)

So that makes them bad?
Shouldn't have any fuel leak there that valve is bad or your high pressure pump is making too much pressure.... With a bad valve truck runs fine until you put a load on it and try to go up a hill it will misfire Because that valve is not holding enough pressure to feed the injectors what it needs to pull the hill hope that helps
Read that you should never mess with the high pressure fuel system while engine is on and wait at least 10 mins after engine off. So, 0:45 scared me, LOL. A little more detail about the content of this here video, please?

Sorry about not explaining anything, I really wasn’t thinking anybody was going to watch this. Any how, the plungers are supposed to have resistance when pushing it down, if they don’t is because is too worn out. So the fuel pressure is not going to build up as it should. I did buy the new plungers, I will post an update on how I personally did it. Also if you see the plunger is ceramic made CHANGE THEM!!! Don’t run the risk of them breaking and messing your entire engine
Any update on changing the rods? Would just changing rods solve the problem?
