Thank you for being so vulnerable and sharing your stories with us. As someone who grew up pursuing a dance career and was weighed for a grade in college, it sucks that strong ambition in young girls can be so dangerous and taken advantage of by industry professionals. I know you’re stronger for having gone through those things but I’ll always wish we could leave the damage where we met it. So sorry that happened to you ❤️‍🩹and thank you for your vulnerability in giving voice to all the women taken advantage of in the entertainment industry. Your response to the grooming makes me wonder how many of hollywoods current young bombshells embrace a persona of hypersexualization as a protective measure against the inevitability of it being done without their consent. So often once young stars have aged enough to see the patriarchy of it all (like with Natalie Portman, Megan fox, scarlet Johansson, Pamela Anderson etc. who have spoken about the damaging objectification they experienced as young actresses) their voices aren’t amplified enough to be heard over the roaring of men drooling over the next round of young stars they’re socially allowed to dehumanize.
