5 Mark Of A Healthy Church (Part 2) | Acts 2:42-47 | Rev. Ryan Denton | Lubbock Reformed Church
42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe[d] came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45 And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.

"you are close..."is true and was an appropriate statement to make.
So few want to remind how they should behave.
Great teaching brother Ryan!
Christianity has suffered from false teachers from early on. Satan deeply compromised Christ's message, most significantly through the false doctrine of Original Sin used to inculcate into human beings the belief that they are not inherently worthy of God, when indeed they are created in His image and likeness, and as Christ taught, that in Him we live, move, and have our being. No just and loving God, of course, would condemn babies and all people to eternal torment, just for being born. Would you do that to your children? Of course not.
Did you ever consider that all of the ancient fathers of the first four centuries of the Catholic Church - yes, it was called "catholic" - that is,everywhere (universally) "one Lord, one Faith , one baptism" - to distinguish it from the numerous conventicles of false teachers who had risen up to challeng the defined apostolic Catholic doctrine - all of these great, highly intelligent and miracle working "fathers/saints taught doctrines that you so-called reformed people deny? So who are the real "false teachers"? You are indisputably one of them. I think that your so-called "Reformed Church" (which one of the many such ?) needs desperately and swiftly to be reformed. Or do you have the pertinacious audacity to assert that Christ's solemn promise that the Holy Spirit would lead the one Church that He founded on the "rock of . Peter, (to whom ALONE, by the way, He gave "Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven") into ALL TRUTH and promised to protect IT (singular) from formally teaching error in his name to the end of the world, has failed, and indeed had failed very early on - maybe immediately after the death of the last apostle or soon thereafter? This absurd un-biblical doctrinal and unhistorical nonsense, will, because it cannot but be willful self deception, unless you can muster the integrity to face facts and repent, earn you a privileged place deep down in the hottest part of Hell, "where their worm never dieth and the fire is never quenched." +
