Just picked one of these up for $100. Never heard of them.

Lickety slowed them down on the newer models, probably because some bonehead lost their fingers trying to set a world record splitting firewood. Fingers are more valuable than split firewood.

While I appreciate productivity as much or more than anything, that folks, is how you get hurt. Keep running that machine that fast and someone will get hurt. Not if they get hurt, but when they get injured. Quick machine btw.

Have same machine,I see yours has a Honda motor? Any problems getting the throttle hooked up any chance you can do a close up pic or vid to show that connection, I'm trying to get my new motor to increase speed wen it needs to ,thks

could you please email me as I have the same machine, but when I pull the handle, it doesn't stay there, it releases back a few inches on its own and the ram slows down. I need to constantly hold the lever forward to get the ram to stay at full speed. do you have an idea what is wrong? I just purchased it used this way, and trying to fix it up. mjw2518@yahoo.com. thenks - mike

Great machines I have one with a 5.5hp Honda motor and it will split anything we split some really ugly wood
