Prescott Phillips is the author of VW Air-cooled Engine: How to Rebuild, long time drag racer with Underdog racing, and performance engines and transmission builder. Sean Smith is a long time mechanic and rescuer of all things rusty. Together the two discuss the culture and history surrounding Volkswagen. They will have weekly guest come on the show to share their stories about racing, driving, and rebuilding Volkswagens throughout the years.

The best podcast! The Midwest VW shop list is a good idea. You should also do a Midwest VW TH-cam channel list, there's a handful that I've found but there's probably some I don't know about.
Great recap on the year. Of course it was good to hear Seward Speed Shop represented and once that winning engine comes back home to Rockford looking forward to some buzz about that! Here's to 2025 and hitting your goal of 10,000 downloads. Happy New Year.

Volume is very low!
I don't man, I just listened and could hear it okay but I listen to everything full volume, so maybe that's what you're talking about. This is our first video and I will keep trying to improve things. Thank you for watching and Thanks the feed back.
I re-watched it while using a blue tooth speaker and the audio was kind of difficult to hear at times. Thanks for your feedback and we will improve in future episodes.

Could you please give specifics on Prescott's and Chuck's engine and trans specs. Case, heads, carbs, valve size, cams, comp. ratio, etc. Thanks.
Prescott is running a 2332 84x94 SuperFlo Heads Weber 48 idf Carbs. Chuck is running a 2387 86x94 48 idf carbs. Hope this helps thanks for listening.
I loved this episode. Listened on another platform. My only siggestion would be to make the title more searchable. I had the hardest time figuring out which episode was Mario's from The Dub Shop episode. Title could have literally just said, "Mario from The Dub Shop"!

Was just listening sick summer day 4 and wanted to make a correction. You guys thought we had 3-4 VWS at sick week but we actually had 9
