Also, did they ask for your groups height and inseam measurements? My cycling partner is only 157 cm tall so need a small bike for her...

@dianemckim9535 Hello. I think they call them hybrid bikes. We did all the communication via email, and yes, we did send the heghts and gender by email, so that they could have the bikes ready. They are super responsive, so if you write to them, they will provide all the details. And this way you can also check their availability for the rental period.

Hello and thank you! I did not experience altitude sickness during the climb itself, however, on the day before summitting, while resting, I did not get to sleep and I did feel a bit nauseated. The guides however, checked my oxygen level, which was good given the altitude, and I was able to summit without any problem at all. I guess my number 1 advice is to go very very very slow and that will increase your chances to avoid altitude sickness.

Hi. I could use revolut and other regular cards, but I do not own a forex card so not sure how well it will work. Maybe you can check with the guide you're doing the hike with. they might know better. Also, I would suggest that you have also some cash - since some shops / markets might not accept payment by card at all. we could pay in dollars pretty much everywhere (card or cash).

Hello. When we did this short bike trip, in 2022, we only went to Antibes on dedicated bike lanes. Between Antibes and Cannes, I believe there are some portions also with dedicated cycle paths as far as I could see on googlemaps, but you would occasionally need to cycle on regular streets with cars as well.

I filmed mostly with s GoPro hero 9 and also with a samsung - especially for the closeups. I also had a copule of Iphone shots.

Hello. We rented the bikes in porto, from vieguini and we dropped them in lisbon. We strongly recommend them. They can arrange drop off on other locations as well.

Hello. I'm very pleased u enjoyed our trip. It was not organized with a company, we were just a bunch of friends who wanted to do this trail, we did some research online and organized the journey by ourselves. There were a lot of useful information on the eurovelo portugal website

But where did you rent the bikes please? Did you return them in Lisbon or Porto?

Hi and happy new year. we only did the trail between Porto and Lisbon, and for this section the GPX tracks from eurovelo website are not 100% updated. we got several times detoured and we compensated with google maps. as for accomodation, we found it easily, for a group of 6, using booking. we usually did it 1-2 days in advance. Hi! Thanks for your comment. We were following the Eurovelo GPX track on that day (and on most of the days) and it took us through the Aveiro Lagoon. There was an alternative to it, but it wasn't actually olong the beach, it was along a national road. We were not aware of any cycle path closer to the beach either. We did love the Lagoon, it was very spectacular. If it helps, I can share the gpx tracks. Best of luck with your trip

Buna. Noi am facut cam 9 ore, cu pauze inclusiv. Multicele pauze si cred ca am stat la Muntele Rosu cam o ora. Cred ca se poate face lejer si in vreo 7-7.5 ore.

Hello! Great to hear you're taking the trip. From my perspective the trip is quite easy - of course, depending on how many days you have available. we dit it in 6 days. Just the first section - from Passau to Haibach ob der Donau Cycling has some hills - elevation gain according to my GPS for this section was around 140m. For the rest of the day, elevation gain was between 50 and 100 m. I have the GPX tracks, if it helps you. A very good thing about this trail is that it is really really well marked - it is really difficult to get lost, even without a GPS device. Also, 90% or more is just cycle lanes, so no issues with crowded cars. And even when you have to use the streets, for small portions, car drivers are extremely bike friendly - more so than anywhere else I have been.
