We show an easy way to attach single (or looped) tubes to a slingshot frame in a very portable manner, with virtually no tube wearout at the fork. I describe a way to attach single tubes to wooden slingshots that gives long life for the tubes by preventing abrasion by the wood. The method results in "portable" bands; i.e., the band sets can easily be moved from one slingshot to another without needing to retie.
