Bigger food source the smaller mice takes longer because he has too eat 1 or 2 maybe 3 if real hungry unless it's a rat sized but even then it's good to switch it up try lizards depending on living location easy to find or live baby mice that are baby baby's nothing big enough to bit the snake when it goes to strike also or baby chicken frozen or alive

I will have to try to change up mine and see if she likes the bird
