Not very deadman

Digging out a retaining wall whose deadmen are as good as dead!
Mate, excellent content. I’ve been wanting to do exactly the same thing to my Delica but just couldn’t find a good “how to” until now. Job well done 👌 👍
Putting it back together? Any videos there? Lol
Play the video in reverse? Lol. Pretty simple except getting the stereo wire bundle on top of the stereo and behind the big round support pipe. Everything only goes one way so be mindful and patient. I take down the rear view mirror now. Saves the aggravation
very useful how to, thank you!

Fair few things can cause this. Even your contacts not being clean enough can cause this. User error most likely.
Thank you for the helpful comment.
Nice
Great video. Sadly, I followed it to the core, but my dash was simply too brittle - it cracked with almost no effort. Did you ever source another one?
Yes mine is broken in many places. They get very very brittle. I have seen them for sale used in Vancouver area for $100-$300!
Nice thing about living in Arizona it’s so dry I can wash it down with the hose and give it a couple hours to dry..
thanks for the great tutorial! I aslo put some silicone dry lubricant on the cord reel button.
Thanks for this video. very helpful
Awesome thank you!
Just buy a STEDI festoon bulb and be done with it
Good info
Thanks. Frustrated to not find anything like this so..."if its meant to be its up to me!"
Why doesn’t the rubber hose attached to the vacuum not come off? I have no suction. Every part is clean, but I can’t check that hose. Customer service couldn’t help me. Why do you think?
Sorry. Sent this to the wrong space: If you mean the main vacuum hose, there is a squeeze point where it attaches to the front of the vacuum and it should come off there. If it is not that hose, can you describe what/where you are referring to? Is it visible in the video? It has been so long since I did the videos that I dont recall. But we can try to figure this out.
Bet you had the adaptor for the LED installed backwards, they make direct replacement LED bulbs for those types of interior lights. Far less messing about and you will get the result you want. Just by half decent ones not the cheapest bulbs you can find since the difference is only a few dollars. I have used these bulbs and i have never had an issue.
You should check the wattage and polarity of the LED because LEDs must be connected to a correct polarity inorder to light up. And cars has a fuse in every loads so check the wattage of your loads before installing or change the fuse but i dont recommend changing fuse because the wires are somewhat designed in pair with the fuse.
Many thanks for this. Need to replace the clock on my L400 so your guide came at just the right time.
Thanks for posting this. I have a problem with the cord *not* staying out. Needed to get inside to fix it.
Merci beaucoup
