I totally get that. I left the USA for a 10 day vacation to England. I got so homesick that 20 years later I went back to the USA. Yes, I’m so darn slow a 10 day vacation took me 20 years. Now instead of being homesick I’m sick of home. I only came back because there’s no fried okra in the UK. Now I’d give anything for a flapjack and some chocolate Hobnobs. Come to find out, happiness isn’t a geographical condition. Happiness is being near my sons.
