Engineer here! This touches on a TON of great stuff that I experience all the time haha. Setting realistic expectations for what you can get done in a studio day is so important, and accounting for setup and meal times is something people overlook ALL the time 😅 Also never underestimate the power of a walk around the block if you get stuck on a part, or get lost in the details of the direction you want to take a song!

While I don't have any ambition for making music, I do agree that if you're looking to make music, you should avoid getting equipment that will bring you into debt. Or that most everyone won't really hear the difference between inexpensive starter equipment and top tier stuff. I for one won't. Edit: I didn't finish my thought: I enjoyed the content of the video. And good luck with your music.
