참으로 귀한 영상 보여주셔서 감사합니다. 우리나라는 비틀즈펜들이 더 많지만 외국에서는 두 벤드모두 대단하게 여깁니다. 미국의 비치보이스는 영국의 비틀즈와함께 60년대 로큰롤시대부터 7,80년대 디스코 시대까지 서로 경쟁하며 전세계 수많은 펜들을 거느렸던 밴드입니다. 리더 브라이언 윌슨, 메인보컬 마이크러브 등 미국의 자부심이었던 비치보이스 맴버들의 얼굴을 볼수있어서 참 좋았습니다. 2010년경에 우리나라 내한공연을 했는데 전부 할아버지가 되어서 왔고 일부 맴버는 오래전 세상을 떠나서 일부 대체맴버가 오긴 했지만 큰 감동을 주었었죠. 그리고 리더 브라이언 윌슨의 일대기를 그린 영화 "러브엔머시"가 개봉되기도 했었죠. 이들음악을 그냥 서핑뮤직, 또는 해변 여름음악이라고 가볌게 생각할수도 있겠는데요. 하지만 비치보이스의 노래 대부분을 작곡한 리더 브라이언윌슨은 어린시절 아버지에게 심한 폭력을 당했고 메니져에게 착취당하고 첫번째부인에게 이혼당하고 아이들 양육권도 빼앗기는 고통을 겪었죠. 또한 그가 작곡한 모든 노래들의 판권을 아버지가 팔아버리는 바람에 인생 대부분을 심한 우울증속에 살았던 인물 입니다. 그래도 음악 이 있기에 희망을 가지고 살았고 두번째 부인을 만나며 결국 트라우마를 극복하고 행복을 찾은 인물입니다. 그래서 그의 음악은 가벼운것 같지만 엄청난 인생의 고뇌가 녹아있는 노래들입니다. 지금 여러분들에게 우울증이 생겼다면 비치보이스 노래를 듣는것을 추천 합니다. 그리고 유터버님게 부탁한가지 할께요. 비치보이스가 영국 윔블리구장에서 라이브공연한 자료도 보고 싶은데요 가능하다면 자료 올려주시기 바랍니다. 꼭 보고 싶네요.! 부탁합니다.^^

Fantastic editing job. My 2 favorites didn't make the cut: All Summer Long (Beach Boys being the quintessential "summer" band and growing up being all about summer) and Be True to Your School (were you ever in high school? Then you know what I'm talking about), and an honorable mention, When I Grow Up, and yes I did love my wife the rest of my life, 47+ years, and counting. Many thanks and best always. PM

#1 Good Vibrations... yes, there can be no other. My "Mount Rushmore" of 1960s songs are Good Vibrations (Beach Boys), Satisfaction (Rolling Stones), Like A Rolling Stone (Bob Dylan), and Hey Jude (Beatles). Those four songs are what the 1960s were all about. On another note, my all time favorite Beach Boys song is "Heroes and Villains".

Missed out my favourite, "Heroes and Villians", but honestly there wasn't a BB song I didn't like, except for "Barbara Anne" which I don't think was one of their won compositions anyway.
