God i love this film 😍

Denholm Elliot was one of the greatest actors my country ever produced. He should have been a much bigger star, but he was a troubled soul. The intermission was funny for ten seconds, but quite tedious after that. Do I sound like a pretentious twat, or what?!

I absolutely loved this film as a young girl. Of course, it wasn’t often on TV, but when it appeared I would beg to watch it. Looking back, I think it’s funny how themes in our lives resonate from such an early age.

Terrible, silly film. ..How come she's running away in the streets of Seville and, suddenly, rushed in the Mosque in Cordoba?😂 The best, to see the Spanish cities and landscapes still unspoiled by the mass tourism.

I fell in love with the book "The Ghosts" by Antonia Barber when I was 9 (having borrowed it from the local village Library based in the Memorial Hall) on which this film "The Amazing Mr Blunden" is based, both the production and performances by the actors are excellent seamlessly evoking the time period in which the story is set.

45:55 WTF is the point of that lug wrench sticking out so far from the wheel? 1:10:20 $3 million in 1960 would be around $30 million in 2025. EDIT: useless "duh" comments aside, maybe the other end of the wrench is for the jack. I guess one big tool is harder to lose than two small ones. 🙄
